In Modern WoW, there is no definitive BiS list for gearing. Too many variables impact which gear is best and which equipment you should aim for. In Mythic+, you may opt to drop mastery in favor of other stats, which would allow you to output more damage. The below lists will also assume that you are able to obtain the highest item level of the specific piece, which often means completing Mythic Raid or obtaining the item through your weekly great vault. In general, you will want to aim for the highest item level pieces you can get your hands on before then aiming to acquire what is considered the "BiS" items. Season 4 offers a way to target specific, powerful items with the new Antique Bronze Bullion. Evokers can use this new currency to upgrade their legendary weapon, Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy. This will be your first choice no matter if you are focusing on Raiding, Mythic+ or even PvP. Once you have acquired your legendary upgrade, your next choice will depend on whether you are focusing on Raiding or Mythic+. The following suggestions will be good in every form of content:

3. Ominous Chromatic Essence

When deciding what to upgrade, you will want to upgrade pieces that offer you the most stat or increase their power the most with an increased item level. Items with leech and avoidance will always have priority due to the fact you are unlikely to replace them, otherwise you should focus on gaining the most intellect and secondary stats or upgrade a powerful trinket. The following are examples of what you may choose to upgrade:

• Hauberk of the Awakened
• Broodkeeper's Promise
• Ominous Chromatic Essence

While you can craft any gear with sparks, you will often gain the most power from crafting a one-handed weapon first. That being said, many of you will have a legendary meaning that you should instead craft Adaptive Dracothyst Armguards as your first embellishment. After this, you can make either Venom-Steeped Stompers or Allied Legguards of Sansok Khan. Stompers provide stronger personal HPS, but the legs offer not only a boost to your own HPS, but a boost to your groups overall damage and healing as well. If, at this point, you have not gotten a Mythic item-level weapon, you can choose to spend your next sparks making a weapon.

Outside of these items, you should aim to increase your worst-geared item slot. If you have already crafted all your embellishments but have very low item level bracers, for example, it could be worth spending a spark on crafting some higher item level ones.

When discussing trinkets, it is important to note that many trinkets have varying item levels. If you have the best trinket at a low item level, another lower-ranked trinket could potentially be better.
