1.

Macros

1.1.

Generic Macros for Evokers

1.1.1.

Emerald Blossom on Mouseover

  • /cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] [] Rescue
1.1.3.

Verdant Embrace on Mouseover

This macro will cast Verdant Embrace Icon Verdant Embrace on your mouseover target; if they are not a friendly target (or a dead friendly target), it will cast on yourself instead.

1.1.4.

Cauterizing Flame on Mouseover

This macro will cast Cauterizing Flame Icon Cauterizing Flame on your mouseover target; if they are not a friendly target (or a dead friendly target), it will cast on yourself instead.

  • #showtooltip
  • /cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] [] Cauterizing Flame
1.2.

Specific Macros for Augmentation Evokers

1.2.1.

Prescience on Mouseover

This macro will cast Prescience Icon Prescience on your mouseover target; if they are not a friendly target (or a dead friendly target), it will use blizzards default targeting instead.

  • #showtooltip
  • /cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] [] Prescience
1.2.2.

Blistering Scales on Mouseover

This macro will cast Blistering Scales Icon Blistering Scales on your mouseover target; if they are not a friendly target (or a dead friendly target), it will use blizzards default targeting instead.

  • #showtooltip
  • /cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] [] Blistering Scales
1.2.3.

Spatial Paradox on Mouseover

This macro will cast Spatial Paradox Icon Spatial Paradox on your mouseover target; if they are not a friendly target (or a dead friendly target), it will use blizzards default targeting instead.

  • #showtooltip
  • /cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] [] Spatial Paradox
1.2.4.

Bestow Weyrnstone on Mouseover

This macro will cast Bestow Weyrnstone Icon Bestow Weyrnstone on your mouseover target; if they are not a friendly target (or a dead friendly target), it will use blizzards default targeting instead.

  • #showtooltip
  • /cast [@mouseover, help, nodead] [] Bestow Weyrnstone
1.2.5.

No Stance Black Attunement Macros

This macro will automatically swap back to Black Attunement Icon Black Attunement if you are not in that stance. This specific example is for Eruption, but you can copy the Black attunement line into any of your other macros or change the spells!

This is useful because every time you use Hover Icon Hover with Aspects' Favor Icon Aspects' Favor talented, you will automatically be swapped to Bronze Attunement Icon Bronze Attunement after using Hover Icon Hover.

Swapping stances is off GCD and will not interfere with your rotation and there is a 3-second lockout before you will be able to change back, so you will still get the most out of the hover movement speed bonus from Aspects.' Favor.

This macro may potentially be annoying if you are doing old content and wish to be in Bronze Attunement Icon Bronze Attunement the entire time, but it is a nice QoL boost elsewhere.

  • #showtooltip Eruption
  • /cast [nostance:1] Black Attunement
  • /cast Eruption

Addons

2.1.

General Addons

2.2.

ElvUI

Here, at Icy Veins, we use ElvUI for all our characters. This addon is a complete replacement of the default User Interface. It comes with almost everything you need to perform properly: action bars, cooldown timers, proc display, etc.

We strongly recommend that you get this addon and our forum moderator Pandacho has written a quick configuration guide for it.

2.2.1.

Boss Mods: Deadly Boss Mods or Bigwigs

Boss mods are addons that warn you about boss abilities and give you live advice on how to handle some mechanics. We strongly recommend you to get one such addon. At Icy Veins, we mostly use Deadly Boss Mods, the most popular boss mod. A good alternative is Big Wigs.

2.2.2.

GTFO

GTFO is a lightweight addon that notifies you when you are standing in harmful effects or when you are making other such mistakes. It is very useful, even if your boss mod is already alerting you of such things.

2.2.3.

Weak Auras

WeakAuras is an extremely useful addon that allows you to have visual effects on your screen, helping you track your buffs, debuffs and cooldowns. It is highly customisable and it can make it much, much easier to keep track of your procs and play your spec more proficiently. It can also be used for a variety of other functions.

2.2.4.

Details!

"Details!" Damage Meter is a real-time DPS/HPS meter with a lot of additional functionality such as being able to see cooldowns, buffs, debuffs, damage done to specific targets, and statistical analysis. In our opinion, it is superior to Skada in terms of functionality, although it is slightly more complicated to configure. We recommend Details! as your default damage meter, but if you prefer something easier, then Skada is still a good option.

2.2.5.

Method Raid Tools

Method Raid Tools is a useful addon that allows you to track the cooldowns of other raid members, as well as providing you with a wealth of other useful raid information.

2.3.

Specific Addons for Augmentation Evokers

2.3.1.

Vuhdo

Vuhdo is an addon that replaces your default raid frames. This addon lets you bind mouse buttons clicks on frames to cast spells as well as set up a custom group for your buff targets for your raid.
