Augmentation Evoker DPS Gems, Enchants, and Consumables — Season 4

In general, the gearing you will do with gems and enchants will all go the same direction as the general way of gearing your character for specific stats. You can read more about it on the Stat page linked below.

You should use one Skillful Illimited Diamond and either Sensei's Neltharite or Keen Neltharite in all other sockets; Crit and Haste will be almost interchangeable at a certain point with a slight bias towards crit.

Be sure to add Tiered Medallion Setting on your necklace to add up to 3 sockets to it.

In practice, these guidelines are largely down to how enchants do not compete over primary stats, merely secondaries. As a result, the gearing stat priority is applicable and can be followed: Mastery or Haste as a good default, or whatever sims the highest for you at the time for damage. Use Iced Phial of Corrupting Rage for all content. It is worth noting that Phial of Charged Isolation can be superior if you pay attention to your positioning and maintain good uptime.

Hissing Rune is the best Rune for Augmentation evoker as Mastery is always the best stat no matter how much investment you have.

Elemental Potion of Ultimate Power should be your combat potion of choice.

You should use Refreshing Healing Potion for in-combat healing. Healing potions do not share a cooldown with Healthstones, so you can use both independently if you have access to a Warlock.

Use Fated Fortune Cookie or Deviously Deviled Eggs as your food buff as these both provide Intelligence (same amount as Grand Banquet of the Kalu'ak)

If a Grand Banquet of the Kalu'ak is available, use this instead.

In addition, if you can afford it, you should use Draconic Augment Runes to increase your primary stat. Since there is a finite amount of the consumable runes available, you should make sure to use them wisely and to stock up on them for when you need them.

Through the Patch 10.2 Emerald Dream Zone and its Dream Wardens Faction, you can also obtain the Dreambound Augment Rune, which is permanent!
