Clorinde Best Teams and Team Compositions

A second Electro character in the party can help Clorinde restore energy and trigger Electro-related reactions. A 2nd Electro is often a main part of teams that revolve around Clorinde.

• Ineffa is one of the best Electro Sub-DPS characters, as she can enable the Lunar-Charged reaction and deal large amounts of off-field DMG.
• Fischl is a strong Sub-DPS especially at her C6, and can provide the most energy to Clorinde. Fischl's performance can be further enhanced when played with another Hexerei character such as Nicole or Prune.
• Ororon is another decent 4-Star option to use, especially as he can equip the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City and work as a Sub-DPS. Iansan can also equip the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City artifact set, but instead of being a Sub-DPS, she buffs ATK.
• Yae Miko can perform a similar role to Fischl in teams with Clorinde, however a C6 Fischl is usually just slightly better.

Hydro characters can enable the Electro-Charged reaction. Hydro characters with Clorinde need to be able to apply their element from off-field to trigger reactions.

• Columbina can enable the Lunar-Charged reaction, dealing more DMG than Electro-Charged, but also enable Lunar-Bloom if the team includes Dendro characters. On top of enabling Lunar reactions, Columbina is also often one of the best Hydro options for her strong off-field Hydro and DMG buffs.
• Furina has very convenient off-field Hydro, provides a large DMG bonus buff, and can deal a decent portion of the team's DMG. However, teams with Furina often require a dedicated party-wide healer such as Baizhu or a Catalyst user with Prototype Amber, as a single-target healer cannot heal Clorinde when she's on-field and in turn cannot stack Furina's buff.
• Mona can be a decent option, and provides large DMG buffs when used alongside other Hexerei characters such as Fischl.
• Yelan or Xingqiu are strong Hydro options to use with Clorinde. Both Yelan and Xingqiu can apply large amounts of off-field Hydro and deal decent off-field DMG.

Dendro characters can be used to enable Quicken teams, or be used alongside Hydro characters as a last slot for Hyperbloom teams.

• Lauma can be a great option to use when paired with a Hydro character, to enable the Lunar-Bloom reaction and deal even more DMG.
• Nahida is a decent Dendro option to use with Clorinde, applying lots of off-field Dendro and even granting an EM buff.
• Baizhu or Yaoyao can be decent defensive options to use with Clorinde, while also being able to apply off-field Dendro. Kirara can also be used as a defensive last slot, and her C4 also allows her to apply off-field Dendro.

• Xilonen can be a decent last slot, providing RES shred based on party members' elements and even equip the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set.
• Anemo characters such as Kaedehara Kazuha can work as a last slot, providing buffs and equipping the Viridescent Venerer artifact set. Lan Yan can provide a shield for defensive capabilities, and even equip the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. Prune can be a decent Anemo support, especially to enable Hexerei passives. Sucrose can be a decent option to enable Hexerei passives, and can work well in Lunar teams.
• Chiori, Albedo, or Linnea can work as a last slot dealing DMG. When Columbina is in the party, Chiori or Albedo can contribute even more to team DMG through the Lunar-Crystallize reaction, with Albedo also being able to trigger Hexerei passives. Linnea can also enable the Lunar-Crystallize reaction on her own and deal large off-field DMG. Yun Jin can also be considered as a support for her Normal Attack additive DMG bonus.
• Nicole and Bennett are both ATK buffers and can be used with Clorinde. Nicole provides a party-wide ATK buff and can also enable Hexerei passives. Both Nicole and Bennett can see more frequent use in Overload teams.

Overload teams can become viable with Chevreuse, as she can buff ATK and reduce enemies' Pyro and Electro resistance. Chevreuse Overload teams strictly require only Electro & Pyro characters. With Clorinde being an on-field Electro, an off-field Pyro is often required to trigger the Overload reaction.

• Durin can be a decent off-field Pyro Sub-DPS in Overload teams, especially when paired with another Hexerei character such as Nicole or Fischl.
• Mavuika can be used as an off-field Pyro Sub-DPS in Overload teams, being able to consistently apply off-field Pyro and deal a decent amount of DMG. Xiangling can be a decent option as well for her off-field Pyro and DMG; however, she often has high energy requirements. Thoma can also fulfill this role as a defensive option.

With Clorinde, Chevreuse and an off-field Pyro character, the remaining slot of this team can be filled by a second Electro or by Nicole or Bennett.
