Gnomeregan Dungeon Entrance and Basics
Gnomeregan is a dungeon in WoW Forever, tuned for Level 29-38 players. The dungeon is located in Dun Morogh, all the way Northwest, after Brewnall Village.
Gnomeregan Dungeon Attunement
Gnomeregan is located deep within Alliance territory which makes it an easy ride for Alliance players. Horde players have access to an "attunement" quest where they can teleport directly into the dungeon area from Booty Bay, avoiding a long trip that would likely result in lots of deaths. You will need to complete the following quests:
| Quest | Min Level | Sharable | Location | Notes and Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rig Wars | 25 | Nogg 75.8 25.2 in Orgrimmar |
You don't really need to complete this quest to gain access to the Gnomeregan teleporter, but you need to have it on your quest log to gain access to the first quest leading to it. | |
| Chief Engineer Scooty | 25 | Sovik 75.6 25.2 in Orgrimmar |
Once you've picked up Rig Wars, Sovik, who's in the same shop as Nogg, will offer this quest. Go to Booty Bay, the fastest way for this is taking the ship from Ratchet. | |
| Gnomer-gooooone! | 25 | Scooty 27.6 77.4 in Stranglethorn Vale |
Simply wait a few seconds for Scooty to calibrate the transponder behind him - This is the
teleporter to Gnomeregan. It will work as long as you have the The teleporter is a two-way path and can also be used to return to Booty Bay. |

Gnomeregan Boss Strategy
Gnomeregan has six bosses, with one of them being a rare spawn.
| Grubbis
Grubbis is located by a cavern near the main entrance of the dungeon, connected to the top floor of the Hall of Gears area. Grubbis is not initially active; you must start the event with Blastmaster Emi Shortfuse, which will spawn troggs from the caves surrounding the area. Grubbis spawns with the second wave and does not have much in the way of abilities, except the adds spawned from previous waves. |
|
| Viscous Fallout
The Viscous Fallout can be found on the lowr floor of the Hall of Gears. It is another boss without much in the way of abilities, but as he patrols though the entirety of the lower portion of his room, it is recommended to clear an area of trash to engage the boss there.. |
|
| Electrocutioner 6000
The Electrocutioner 6000 is found on the top platform in the Launch Bay. He has a lot of lightning abilities - a Chain Bolt that will deal damage if players are too close, a Megavolt that deals damage in a cone in front of the boss, and a Shock ability on the main target. Stay spread, watch out for Megavolt if you're melee, and keep an eye on tank health as Shock does hurt a bit. |
|
| Crowd Pummeler 9-60
The Crowd Pummeler 9-6o is found in the lower level of the Engineering Labs area. He is annoying to both casters and melee alike: Melee needs to be mindful of the frontal cone from his Arcing Smash, and casters need to stand near max range to avoid the interrupts from Crowd Pummel. Both Crowd Pummel and his third ability, Trample, deal AOE damage around him, so watch out for both the tank and any melees in your group. Hybrid off-heals can be good here. |
|
| Dark Iron Ambassador
The Dark Iron Ambassador is a rare boss that can spawn on the corridors leading to the Tinker's Court area. If you spot him, make sure to clear enough trash and not pull him with any other mobs. He has a Fireball ability that can and should be interrupted, a Fire Shield that renders him immune to Fire damage, and he can summon Burning Servant adds that should die quickly. |
|
| Mekgineer Thermaplugg
The final boss in Gnomeregan can be found in the Tinker's Court area. Thermaplugg himself does not have much in the way of abilities besides a knockback that reduces the tank threat. However, dispensers around his room will summon Walking Bombs that will slowly make thieir way towards a player and explode. Your group can either choose someone to turn the dispensers off by pressing buttons on their right side, or simply kill them. They have low health, but be careful if you're a melee player! |
