Ineffa's Best Teams & Character Synergies

Welcome to our Ineffa team composition guide and character synergies overview for Genshin Impact. In this guide, we'll explore the best teams to build for Ineffa, including recommended characters, character synergies, and team compositions to help Ineffa reach her full potential.

Best Pairings and Synergies With Ineffa

Ineffa works best on teams that can utilize the Lunar-Charged reaction and maximize its damage. This entails pairing her with a Hydro unit, and characters of other elements that are not disruptive to keeping both Hydro and Electro auras on enemies consistently.

Columbina
Columbina

Columbina is Ineffa's greatest teammate, providing the Hydro needed for Lunar-Charged, providing fantastic buffs to the reaction, and even dealing excellent Lunar-Charged damage of her own. Pairing Columbina and Ineffa together results in a powerful duo that can fit into many different teams, dealing tremendous Lunar-Charged damage from off-field.

Hydro
Hydro

If not using Columbina, you still need a Hydro unit on the team. For off-field Hydro options, Aino works well as she provides Moonsign to enable Ascendant Gleam, and can buff the active character's EM and Lunar DMG% with her C1 and C6 respectively. Furina works well if there is a healer on the team, but keep in mind her DMG% buff does not apply to Lunar damage. If not using Aino or Furina, the next best options will generally be Yelan and/or Xingqiu.

Sucrose Anemo
Anemo

Anemo characters are fantastic on Lunar-Charged teams, lowering enemy resistance by 40% via 4pc Viridescent Venerer. Sucrose will usually be the best Anemo unit, thanks to providing great Elemental Mastery buffs while also being able to buff your active character's ATK% via Thrilling Tales. Jahoda is also a good option, as she can enable Ascendant Gleam, while providing some Elemental Mastery and even some CRIT DMG buffing at C6. Jahoda also provides healing, which can allow Furina to be used as the Hydro slot if not using Columbina. Ifa also works well here, directly buffing Lunar-Charged DMG%. However, he needs to be used on-field, so it's not recommended to use him in teams with another on-fielder. On-field Hydro appliers can also be good to use, such as Neuvillette, Kamisato Ayato, or Tartaglia.

Flins Electro
Electro

Flins is a very powerful DPS to use with Ineffa, as he deals excellent Lunar-Charged damage and further buffs the reaction's damage, allowing him and Ineffa to deal incredible damage together. Although not as strong as Flins, other Electro DPS can also work well with Ineffa, especially if they have Elemental Mastery scaling. For example, Cyno, Sethos, and Yae Miko.

Geo
Geo

Geo can be used on Lunar-Charged teams, enabling the Lunar Crystalize reaction to be used as well. This can decrease the amount of damage procs from the Lunar-Charged Thundercloud, but there is still enough uptime for Ineffa to get all of her direct Lunar-Charged damage procs. As such, this is a powerful team core for many Geo DPS, such as Navia, Arataki Itto, Noelle, and Ningguang. If using Ineffa with a Geo DPS, then Xilonen also becomes a strong support option instead of Anemo, able to provide RES Shred to both Electro and Geo.

Durin

Durin can trigger both Vaporize and Overload on Lunar-Charged enemies, allowing him to deal good damage while providing some RES Shred. His long uptime makes him a good alternative to Anemo in teams with an on-fielder with long field time, such as Cyno.

Pyro
Pyro

With sufficient Hydro application, Pyro DPS can be used in Lunar-Charged teams, and the Pyro DPS can trigger both Overload and Vaporize. Since the Pyro application will continuously remove the Lunar-Charged aura from the enemies, this results in less damage procs from the Thundercloud. However, with sufficient Hydro application, there is still enough for Ineffa to get all of her direct Lunar-Charged damage instances. Some Pyro DPS that can work well here are Hu Tao, Lyney, and Arlecchino.

Dendro
Dendro

Dendro characters can be used with Ineffa to create Hyperbloom and Quickbloom teams. With fast enough Hydro application, Lunar-Charged can be triggered enough to not miss any direct Lunar-Charged damage on Ineffa, allowing her to still deal her own high damage, while either she or another Electro unit also deals Hyperbloom damage. If there is not enough Hydro application, Dendro can still work well with Ineffa but there will be no Lunar-Charged uptime, and Ineffa will be relying mostly on Hyperbloom for damage. Alongside that Hyperbloom damage, she still provides her Shield, Elemental Mastery buff, and can also enable Quicken. Some Dendro units that can work well with Ineffa are Alhaitham and Tighnari as on-field options, and Lauma and Nahida for off-field options.

Ineffa's Best Team Compositions

Listed below are a range of team compositions we recommend you use with Ineffa. Her best teams, however, can depend on what boss you are against as well as how you have built her. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect their overall power. For example, some F2P teams may also be present.
