Beidou Best Teams and Team Compositions
Beidou is a 4-Star Electro Claymore character, who excels in 2-target fights while being able to provide Electro RES shred and a strong shield with Constellations. Her parry skill is also great for many mechanics in a pinch. This guide will focus on Beidou's best weapons, builds, artifacts, teambuilding and more!
Beidou's Best Teams & Character Synergies
Welcome to our Beidou team composition guide for Genshin Impact. Beidou is an off-field Electro DPS whose performance relies heavily on having an on-field driver who can consistently trigger the lightning discharges from her Elemental Burst, Stormbreaker.
Pairing Beidou with another Electro character is highly recommended, as it significantly lowers her Energy Recharge requirements and makes it much easier to maintain Burst uptime. Beidou also benefits greatly from strong buffers, as her Burst can snapshot buffs from characters such as Bennett, Kaedehara Kazuha, and catalyst users holding Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers.
Beidou also provides damage reduction and interruption resistance through her Burst, giving her teams additional survivability. This makes her especially comfortable when paired with shields, healing, or other defensive utility.
Best Pairings and Synergies With Beidou
Beidou can also work in Stellar Conduct teams when Sandrone is present. In these teams, regular Superconduct reactions are converted into Stellar Conduct, giving Beidou access to a much stronger reaction-based team archetype.
Sandrone currently looks like one of Beidou's best DPS partners for this playstyle, as she enables Stellar Conduct while benefiting from Beidou's off-field Electro damage and defensive utility. Other characters such as Wriothesley, Diona, Yae Miko, Cyno, and Qiqi can also be used alongside Beidou to create strong Stellar Conduct team setups.
Fischl is widely considered Beidou's best 4-Star option. She provides excellent off-field Electro damage, strong battery utility, and requires very little field time. Fischl's strong single-target damage also pairs extremely well with Beidou's powerful multi-target Burst damage.
Fischl is especially strong in teams where the on-field character can trigger Electro reactions, allowing Fischl to activate her 4th Ascension Passive for additional damage. Quicken teams also make excellent use of both Fischl and Beidou.
It is worth noting that neither Fischl nor Beidou are reliable Hyperbloom triggers, so a separate Hyperbloom trigger should be used in those teams.
Electro teammates help reduce Beidou's Energy Recharge requirements by generating Electro particles and activating Electro Resonance. These units are especially useful in Quicken, Hyperbloom, Electro-Charged, and Overloaded teams.
Beidou's lightning discharges cannot target Dendro Cores, which means she will not steal Hyperbloom triggers from a dedicated Hyperbloom unit. This allows her to provide additional off-field Electro damage in Hyperbloom teams without interfering with the main trigger.
Avoid using Raiden Shogun's Elemental Burst during Beidou's Burst, as Raiden's Burst attacks do not trigger Beidou's lightning discharges properly. Raiden is better used as an off-field Hyperbloom trigger when paired with Beidou.

Dendro characters allow Beidou to be played in Quicken, Aggravate, and Hyperbloom teams. In Aggravate teams, Beidou's Electro damage gains additional value from Quicken uptime, while in Hyperbloom teams she can provide extra damage without directly triggering Dendro Cores.
Strong Dendro options include on-field DPS characters, off-field Dendro appliers, and defensive supports who help maintain Quicken or Bloom uptime.
Anemo characters are excellent with Beidou because they can use Viridescent Venerer to reduce Electro RES while also providing grouping, buffs, healing, or additional Swirl damage.
Kaedehara Kazuha and Sucrose are especially valuable due to their buffs and grouping utility. Xilonen can also be used as a strong resistance shred and damage bonus support through her Skill and artifact options.
Hydro characters pair well with Beidou in Electro-Charged, Hyperbloom, and general off-field DPS teams. They help create Dendro Cores in Hyperbloom teams and enable Electro-Charged reactions in taser-style compositions.
Xingqiu is especially notable because his damage reduction stacks well with Beidou's own defensive utility, making the team much harder to interrupt or kill. Teams with Furina generally want a healer or a character such as Neuvillette to fully take advantage of her Burst buff.
Pyro characters can use Beidou in Overloaded teams, especially when paired with Chevreuse. Pyro Resonance also provides a useful team-wide ATK% boost.
Overloaded can knock enemies away, but ranged Pyro DPS characters such as Yoimiya and Yanfei can handle this better than most melee characters. Bennett and Chevreuse are standout options due to their strong buffs and healing.
