Season of Discovery Demonology Warlock DPS Talents and Runes

The level cap right now in Season of Discovery is level 50, meaning we still don't have all of our talent points, but atleast this gives us some more options. While there are many options for talents if you plan to DPS as a Demonology Warlock, this build pulls ahead of the other options.

Please note that Demonology is much lower than both Affliction and Destruction in terms of DPS in a raid setting. If you intend to play it, put five points into Demonic Embrace to get some extra Stamina, but most importantly to open up further tiers in the tree. Next put two points into Improved Healthstone and three points into Fel Intellect. These will make your Healthstones heal for more and give your demon some more mana. After that put three points into Improved Sayaad. This makes your Succubus/Incubus deal 10% more damage with their Lash of Pain. Then put one point into Fel Domination to reduce the casting time the next time you summon your demon. This is helpful for whenever your Succubus/Incubus dies. This talent also synergizes extrememely well with another talent called Master Summoner. After that put three points into Fel Stamina to give your Succubus/Incubus 9% more Stamina, but more importantly to drop down to the next tier where you will pick up Master Summoner for the quick summon that we just talked about and Unholy Power which is an amazing talent that buffs your demon making it deal 20% more damage with it's melee attacks.

From here, grab Demonic Sacrifice. This won't be used much outside of using it to sacrifice your Imp to get more Fire damage when you're dealing AoE damage with Hellfire, but you also need this point in order to get Soul Link. Follow this up by placing five points into Master Demonologist, as this will increase your damage by 10% whenever you have your Succubus/Incubus out. Finish with placing your final point into Soul Link. This not only makes you super tanky, but also buffs both you and your demons' damage by 3%.

• Gloves — Chaos Bolt
• Pants — Incinerate
• Chest — Demonic Tactics
• Belt — Grimoire of Synergy
• Boot — Demonic Knowledge

While there are many options of Runes this phase, the ones above do the most damage and sim by far the highest if you plan to DPS as a Demonology Warlock. Incinerate is your main filler and will be used more than any other spell in your arsenal and mandatory. It deals much more damage than Shadow Bolt and much cheaper on Mana, making you have to Life Tap less. Chaos Bolt is the hardest hitting spell in the entire game and mandatory for the build. Demonic Tactics will increase your crit by 10%. Grimoire of Synergy gives both you and your demon a 5% chance to buff the other by 25% damage whenever they deal damage. This was recently buffed and is now the best option. Demonic Knowledge increases your spell damage by 10% of your current demons total Stamina and Intellect. For example, if your pet has 50 Stamina and 50 Intellect, that equates to a total of 100, therefore you would gain 10 spell damage. This is also buffed by Blessing of Kings.
