Candace Best Teams and Team Compositions

Candace is mainly used with Pyro Normal Attack damage dealers who want to play in Vaporize teams. Characters such as Arlecchino, Hu Tao, and Yoimiya can benefit from Candace's Normal Attack DMG buffs and Hydro application.

At C6 The Overflow, Candace gains much stronger off-field Hydro application, triggering an additional Hydro attack when allies deal Elemental DMG with Normal Attacks. This helps maintain more consistent Vaporize reactions while also increasing the damage of the active DPS through her Burst buff.

Candace can also be used with Cryo Main DPS characters, especially in Freeze teams. At C6, she provides off-field Hydro application whenever the active character deals Elemental DMG with Normal Attacks, helping maintain Freeze uptime.

Characters such as Wriothesley, Skirk, Kamisato Ayaka, and Lohen can make use of Candace when they benefit from her Hydro application and Normal Attack damage bonus. She is best suited to Cryo DPS characters that can make meaningful use of DMG Bonus buffs.

Candace can also support Hydro DPS characters who deal a large portion of their damage through Normal Attacks. Kamisato Ayato and Tartaglia can both benefit from her Normal Attack DMG bonus, while Candace also contributes additional Hydro application.

Candace can be played in Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon teams alongside Dendro characters such as Nahida and Alhaitham. Her Hydro application helps trigger Bloom reactions consistently, especially when paired with characters who can stay on-field and use her Hydro infusion.

Nilou teams can also benefit from Candace, as her Hydro application and infusion can help generate additional Bloom cores in certain team setups.

Candace can also benefit Electro DPS characters, especially in Electro-Charged or Hyperbloom-adjacent teams. Characters such as Cyno, Raiden Shogun, Clorinde, and Razor can use her Hydro application to help trigger reactions while also benefiting from her Normal Attack DMG bonus.

Candace can be used with Geo DPS characters such as Navia and Arataki Itto in teams where they can benefit from Normal Attack DMG bonuses or additional Hydro application for reaction utility. These teams are more niche, but they can still be functional depending on the rest of the team composition.
