Hyperion Manufacturer Overview

Hyperion guns come with a front facing holo-shield that activates when aiming down the sight and has limited health, and all their guns also offer increased accuracy the longer your fire the weapon. They have a higher rate of fire, generous magazines and overall balanced stats and are best suited for those who prefer to keep firing at mid to close range until the magazine is empty.

Hyperion Weapon Traits

  • Above average magazine size
  • Above average fire rate
  • Above average handling

Hyperion Lore

The Hyperion corporation featured in both Borderlands 1 and 2 prominently, but its most significant role in the Borderlands universe is the manufacturing of the New-U stations which allow the player to respawn. They were directly involved in the first game's Claptrap's New Robot Revolution DLC, and were the central story element with Handsome Jack taking over in the second game.
