Yae Miko's Best Teams & Character Synergies

Welcome to our Yae Miko team composition guide and character synergies overview for Genshin Impact. In this guide, we'll explore the best teams to build for Yae Miko, including recommended characters, character synergies, and Team Compositions to help Yae Miko reach her full damage potential.

Best Pairings and Synergies With Yae Miko

Yae Miko is an off-field Sub-DPS who can also be played on-field as a driver in Quicken/Hyperbloom, and recently as an off-field Electro for Stellar-Conduct teams, dealing a portion of the team's damage while also generating off-field stacks.

Yae Miko is a Sub-DPS primarily played as an off-field Electro character for Stellar-Conduct teams or just generally but can also be an on-field driver for Quicken/Hyperbloom.

The Stellar-Conduct playstyle is the new premier way to use Yae Miko, especially with even more Stellar-Conduct characters set to come out. Other playstyles can still be viable with other strong party members.

Stellar-Conduct

Sandrone Cyno Wriothesley
Stellar-Conduct DMG Dealers

With Cryo Stellar-Conduct damage dealers, such as Sandrone or Wriothesley, Yae Miko can be used as an off-field Electro DPS to deal damage and trigger the Super/Stellar-Conduct reaction. In such a team with Sandrone, Yae Miko can contribute to 20% - 25% of the team's damage.

If used as the sole Electro unit in these teams, or a second Electro to Cyno, a C0 Yae Miko is often the best character for this role, with her C1 improving performance further. However, the upcoming 4-Star Alyosha can be better at C2 compared to C0 Yae, and better at C6 compared to C1 Yae.

Yae Miko and Alyosha can also be used together can form an even stronger team.

Odette
Odette & Yae Miko Stellar-Conduct Core

Odette is a 5-Star who can enable the Stellar-Conduct reaction, and alongside Yae Miko as an off-field Electro, can make up for a decent team core for Stellar-Conduct damage dealers.

Quicken / Hyperbloom

Nahida Baizhu Kirara
Dendro characters

Dendro characters can enable the Quicken reaction.

  • Nahida can apply a large and consistent amount of off-field Dendro, while also providing Elemental Mastery buffs through her burst. For Quicken teams, Nahida is often one of the better options.
  • Baizhu can apply off-field Dendro while also providing party-wide heals and a shield.
  • Other Dendro characters such as Collei, pre-C4 Kirara, or Yaoyao can also be decent Dendro party members for such teams; however, their Dendro application as solo Dendro units can be a bit lacking.
  • Alhaitham can be used on-field to deal damage in such teams, while Yae Miko spends most of her time off-field. In such a team, Alhaitham's higher damage output can make using Yae's burst a DPS loss.
Lauma
Lauma

Lauma can be extremely strong as an off-field Dendro, but becomes much stronger when Quicken teams include a Hydro character to enable blooms - these teams are known as Hyperbloom/Quickbloom. With Lauma, the Lunar-Bloom reaction can be triggered instead, dealing even more damage.

Fischl Ineffa Raiden Shogun
Electro Characters

Additional Electro characters can assist in Electro application, while also dealing damage, and help restore energy to Yae Miko.

Fischl can apply and deal decent off-field Electro damage, while also being a very strong Electro Battery. When Yae Miko is used on-field, Fischl can reduce Yae Miko's energy requirements by a decent amount.

Ineffa can shine when used in Hyperbloom teams, where the inclusion of a Hydro character will enable the Lunar-Charged reaction, allowing Ineffa to deal decent off-field damage.

Kuki Shinobu can also pair with Yae Miko as an off-field Electro. Kuki Shinobu can be much more valuable when the team requires a healer, which Kuki can fulfil.

Raiden Shogun has strong synergy with Yae Miko, and can even be played on-field in Quicken or Hyperbloom teams as a driver. Yae Miko's burst can restore a large amount of stacks to increase Raiden Shogun's burst damage. Raiden Shogun can help restore energy to Yae Miko, while also providing an Elemental Burst damage buff, and off-field Electro to the team. Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko can also be used together in other teams, such as a hypercarry Raiden team.

Other on-field Electro characters such as Keqing or Cyno can also be played in Quicken teams, where Yae Miko would serve the role of the second Electro unit. Hyperbloom teams are also viable.

Furina Yelan Columbina
Hydro Characters

Hydro characters can enable Hyperbloom in Quicken teams, or even alternatively form separate Electro/Lunar-Charged teams.

Furina can apply consistent and easy off-field Hydro while providing a large party-wide DMG Bonus buff, although it requires using a healer like Xilonen, Baizhu, or Yaoyao. Teams with Furina can potentially be very strong.

Yelan or Xingqiu can both deal and apply off-field Hydro, although it would require the on-field character to use their normal attacks, which Yae Miko can do.

Columbina can turn these teams into Lunar-Charged and Lunar-Bloom teams, turbo charging damage output and viability of such teams in end-game content. Such teams can work even better with the inclusion of other Lunar characters such as Lauma or Ineffa.

Chevreuse
Overload Teams

Overload teams with Chevreuse can enable Yae Miko to take on the role of an on-field main DPS, alongside other Pyro and Electro characters such as Bennett or Iansan for ATK buffs.
