Destruction Warlock Talent Builds for World of Warcraft: Forever

For dungeons and raids, we recommend a Fire damage build that takes Demonic Sacrifice Icon Demonic Sacrifice alongside the main Destruction talents.

Demonic Sacrifice Talent Build

The 11 points in Demonology give you Demonic Sacrifice Icon Demonic Sacrifice for a 15% Fire damage bonus from sacrificing a Succubus. You can still reach Incinerate Icon Incinerate and Shadow and Flame Icon Shadow and Flame, so this setup keeps the main Destruction talents while adding the sacrifice bonus.

Most of your time goes into casting Incinerate Icon Incinerate while keeping Immolate Icon Immolate, Corruption Icon Corruption, and either Bane of Doom Icon Bane of Doom or Bane of Agony Icon Bane of Agony on the target. Shadow and Flame Icon Shadow and Flame lets Conflagrate Icon Conflagrate leave Immolate running, but also causes your Shadowburn Icon Shadowburn to increase your Fire damage, so both spells are part of your normal rotation. Fights that give you plenty of time to stand and cast suit this build best.

If your group needs a Felhunter's interrupt or a Succubus's crowd control, you'll have to summon a pet and give up the sacrifice bonus. Bane of Havoc Icon Bane of Havoc is worth taking for fights with two enemies, letting you damage one while attacking the other. It replaces Bane of Doom Icon Bane of Doom or Bane of Agony Icon Bane of Agony on that enemy.
