Furina Best Teams and Team Compositions
Furina is a 5-Star Hydro Sword character in Genshin Impact, who supports party members by providing a large DMG Bonus buff. Our Furina build guide focuses on Furina's best weapons, artifacts, skills, constellations, and teams.
Furina's Best Teams & Character Synergies
Welcome to our Furina team composition guide and character synergies overview for Genshin Impact. In this guide, we'll explore the best teams to build for Furina, including recommended characters, character synergies, and team compositions to help Furina reach her full damage potential.
Best Pairings and Synergies With Furina
Furina is a sub-DPS and support, who can be effectively used in a team that utilizes DMG bonus. This becomes a downside with Lunar and Stellar DMG dealers, as they do not scale with DMG bonus. However, Furina can still be used with Lunar and other characters for her convenient off-field Hydro application. As many characters use DMG bonus, this section focuses on specific synergies and possible anti-synergies with Furina.
Choosing a Healer
Furina would typically prefer a party-wide healer who can quickly stack Fanfare points, such as Jean or Baizhu. However, single-target healers, such as Bennett or Xilonen, can still stack Fanfare points efficiently (Furina's passive Endless Waltz also allows single-target healers to heal other party members), and can often be better if they provide further buffs.
Freeze teams with main DPS characters such as Skirk, Kamisato Ayaka, Wriothesley, or even Lohen can be especially powerful with Furina paired with Escoffier as a healer, support, and sub-DPS.
Charlotte can also be used as an alternative 4-Star party-wide healer.
Neuvillette is one of Furina's best synergies, as he can heal himself, lessening the need of a specific party-wide healer. Neuvillette does lose out on some DMG by having a second Hydro character in the team, but Furina's buffs more than make up for it.
Anemo party-wide healers such as Xianyun or Jean can be used for quick Fanfare generation, and also provide Viridescent Venerer RES Shred. Xianyun can also be used to enable and increase plunge DMG.
Baizhu can also generate Fanfare points very efficiently, and enable Dendro reactions, making him very strong in Bloom or Hyperbloom teams.
Hydro party-wide healers, such as Sigewinne or Barbara, provide little benefit aside from fast Fanfare generation, although Sigewinne can slightly buff Furina's off-field DMG.
Sangonomiya Kokomi can also be used as a party-wide healer and drive the team through her Elemental Burst.
Single-target healers may generate Fanfare points slower, but can sometimes be better than party-wide healers when they provide additional buffs. Bennett can be used effectively with ATK-scaling main DMG dealers. Xilonen can reduce enemy RES, and is very commonly used alongside Furina as both provide generalistic buffs that work for most teams.
Anti-Synergies
Lunar (and also Stellar) characters do not scale with DMG bonus, and Furina's buffs are often minimal in such teams. However, Lunar characters can still be played with Furina solely for her comfortable off-field Hydro. With Furina's C2, her increased personal DMG can make her a more viable option.
Bond of Life characters lock away part of their HP and cannot be healed by party members. This limits the use of single-target healers, such as Bennett, and instead forces party-wide healers to still generate Fanfare points, which often leads to less DMG when the healer isn't providing particularly strong buffs to the team. This is mostly apparent with Arlecchino, where using Furina is a compromise.
This is less of an issue with Clorinde, as she can heal herself frequently, and pairs well with Baizhu for his off-field Dendro application.
Furina's Best Team Compositions
Listed below are a range of team compositions we recommend you use with Furina. Her best teams, however, can depend both on what boss you are against as well as how you have built her. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect their overall power; for example, some F2P teams may also be present.
