Enhancement Shaman Talent Builds in World of Warcraft: Forever
Welcome to our Talents and Builds page for Enhancement Shaman in WoW: Forever!
Here we'll be covering recommended loadouts for endgame content at Level 60.
While the jury is out on exactly what configuration of points will
perform best (mostly due to questions about available gear), Enhancement always
builds its core around
Stormstrike and its melee attacks.
We'll be covering both a build for group content and one for solo gameplay. This
mostly comes down to Mana sustain - a Paladin's
Judgement of Wisdom does a lot of
heavy lifting when it comes to Enhancement's high costs. Without it, you may
find more success playing with a build that includes more resource sustain
options.
Standard Endgame PvE Build
This builds the core around
Stormstrike and
Improved Stormstrike
for basic Mana sustain, while filling out the tree for
Maelstrom Weapon and
Rage of the Farseer as your major cooldown.
It then switches to Elemental to grab
Elemental Devastation, and fills
out points until it can reach
Trial by Fire to significantly boost
Fire Nova for more AoE. Finally, it spends its remaining points in
Restoration for bonus Hit Chance from
Tidal Focus.
Improved Ghost Wolf is optional but strongly recommended. While it
provides no direct DPS increase compared to extra points in
Ancestral Knowledge, there are a lot of advantages to having an
on-demand speed boost in encounters.
Talent Swap Options
While
Windfury Weapon should be the go-to imbue, there are
some unknown details with Totem mechanics. It's possible
Rockbiter Weapon
turns out to be best, at which point you should drop
Spirit Weapons
to reduce threat issues.
Flametongue Weapon dagger builds may
also have potential, and if they turn out to be ideal we'll include them on
this page after launch.
Solo Level 60 Build
In situations where you're struggling with Mana at endgame (in particular if you
can't consistently access
Judgement of Wisdom), this is an alternative
build that has a little more Mana self-sustain. It follows a similar core in the
Enhancement tree as the standard build, but once it grabs
Elemental Devastation from the Elemental tree, all remaining points go
into Restoration. It picks up a full 5 points in
Tidal Focus for
increased Hit Chance, and then both
Mindfulness and
Water Shield for
additional Mana sustain.
