Forever Restoration Druid Stat Priority

Last Updated: Oct 26, 2026 - 10:40 AM (1d ago)

On this page, you will find out the optimal PvE stat priority for your Restoration Druid in WoW Forever. We first present the stat priority, before delving into more complex explanations.

1.

Restoration Druid Stat Priority

Welcome to the Stats page for Restoration Druid. This page is intended for Level 60 players, but it can still be useful to understand what each stat does and how it can contribute to your output while you level. Forever changed a ton of items, and most of the higher item level ones remain a mystery to the playerbase. As the full picture comes online post-launch, stat recommendations might change. We also do not know what any fights look like yet which could change the balance between healing and mana stats.

Do not take this stat priority too seriously until we have level 60 data to theorycraft with.

Healing Power
Intellect
Spirit
Mp5
Critical Strike

Each stat provides one or more bonuses to your character:

Stat Bonus
Healing Power Increases the healing of your abilities. Items with healing power will also give you spell power at 1/3rd the rate.
Spell Power Increases the damage of your abilities.
Intellect Increases your Mana by a lot, and your critical strike chance by a little bit.
Spirit Increases your mana regeneration when you are not casting. Half of this will continue while we are casting due to the Meditation Icon Meditation talent. To learn more about this, read the spirit section below.
MP5 "Mana per 5". Regenerates mana every 5 seconds, regardless of whether you have been casting recently.
Critical Strike Increases the critical strike chance of your abilities, including heal-over-time effects.
Haste Reduces your spell cast times and global cooldowns.
TipsSpirit: The 5-Second Rule

Whenever you cast a spell, your spirit regeneration will pause for 5 seconds (if you have the Meditation Icon Meditation talent then it will be halved instead). With this in mind, it can be worth pausing your spell casts in order to regenerate more mana during downtime in a fight. Whenever possible it is better to regenerate mana in longer blocks rather than constantly interrupting this regeneration with, say, a spell cast every 3-4 seconds. This is known as the "5-second rule".

Next, we will go into more detail on each stat. If you are new, then you should read through this, play for a while and then return to it to further your understanding.

1.1.

Healing Power

Healing Power increases the effectiveness of your healing spells. The specific amount gained depends on what is known as a "spell power coefficient" that differs from spell to spell. They are listed below.

Healing Power Explained

In reality, you will take talents that modify these in-game, but we will leave them out for now. They are fairly trivial to add later since they are mostly just percentage increases to each spell. To get the amount of added healing per healing power, we can use the following equation:

Healing Power x Spell Power Coefficient = Healing Gained

These are our core spell coefficients - all at max rank:

  • Rejuvenation Icon Rejuvenation – 0.8
  • Regrowth Icon Regrowth – 0
  • Wild Growth Icon Wild Growth – 0
  • Healing Touch Icon Healing Touch – 0

That means that that +50 healing power would increase our Rejuvenation Icon Rejuvenation by 40 (or +10 healing on each of its 4 ticks). If we have the Nature's Splendor Icon Nature's Splendor talent (which adds a tick to Rejuvenation), then your 50 healing power would increase the spells healing by 50 instead.

1.2.

Intellect

Intellect increases your mana pool and spell critical strike chance. It also affects how quickly you level up weapon skills. We are most interested in Intellect for its mana pool increase since that will increasess the number of spells we can cast per fight. Once you are higher level, you will find intellect on quite a lot of your gear.

Intellect Scaling

Each point of Intellect will give you the following:

  • Mana
    • Each point of Intellect increases your mana pool by 15.
  • Critical Strike
    • Each point of intellect will increase your spell crit chance by 0.017% (60 Intellect for +1%).
  • Weapon Skill
    • Each point of Intellect will slightly increase your chance to level up a weapon skill when attacking.
1.3.

Spirit

Spirit increases your health and mana regeneration while not casting. With the Meditation Icon Meditation talent, you will get half of this value while casting too. Spirit really shines the longer a fight goes on, since your mana pool alone won't be sufficient to handle tougher, longer fights.

1.4.

MP5

MP5, or "Mana per 5" is another regeneration stat that works at full power regardless of whether or not you have been casting recently. You usually get less MP5 on gear than Spirit so it is not necessarily better overall - it is just different. A lot of your MP5 will also come from buffs that other classes give you.

1.5.

Critical Strike

Critical Strike increases your chance of getting a critical hit with spells and abilities. A critical heal is 50% more effective baseline, though it can be increased by certain effects that increase critical multiplier. We can also increase the crit chance of our spells via some talents like Improved Regrowth Icon Improved Regrowth, which means the value of getting crit on our gear can vary widely depending on which spells we cast in raid.

1.6.

Haste

Haste reduces our spells cast times, as well as our global cooldown. It is expected to be a very rare find on gear, though Skyborne Druids will have 2% automatically from Wind Blessed Icon Wind Blessed.

Haste Interactions

Haste has the following impacts:

  • Reduces your global cooldown to a minimum of 1 second. Note that the Gift of the Earthmother Icon Gift of the Earthmother talent already offers this for Rejuvenation Icon Rejuvenation, Wild Growth Icon Wild Growth and Swiftmend Icon Swiftmend which means those spells do not benefit from Haste at all.
  • Does not affect healing-over-time effects. There are no haste breakpoints of any kind in Forever.
  • Does not affect spell cooldowns.

Most of what makes Haste a powerful stat in other versions of the game does not exist in Forever. However, we are also not expecting to see much Haste in the game anyway, so this is unlikely to matter much.
