Trolls are, on the whole, an extremely hostile race of Azeroth, seeking the destruction of every other race they encounter. The Darkspear Trolls are an exception, instead allying themselves with Thrall and the Horde. They can be played as Hunters, Mages, Priests, Rogues, Shamans, Warlock, and Warriors in World of Warcraft: Forever.
Lore Information for Troll
The vicious trolls that populate the numerous jungle isles of the South Seas, are renowned for their cruelty and dark mysticism. Barbarous and superstitious, they carry a seething hatred for all other races. Long since exiled from their ancestral homeland in Stranglethorn Vale, the Darkspear tribe was nearly destroyed by rampaging murlocs. Rescued by the young Warchief Thrall and his orcish warriors, the Darkspear tribe swore an allegiance to the Horde. Led by the cunning Shadow Hunter, Vol'jin, the Darkspears now make their home in Durotar along with their orcish allies. As one of the only surviving Darkspears, it falls to you to reclaim the glory of your tribe.
FAQAre Trolls good in WoW Forever?
Troll Racials
Blizzard's racial re-design philosophy uses four racials per race: two passive effects and two active abilities. The goal is to create a more consistent power level between all races, giving each race its own distinct identity and allowing players to choose the race they like best.
Berserking (Active) — Increases attack and casting speed by
10% for 10-seconds. 3-minute cooldown.
Rapid Regeneration (Active) — Restores 50% of maximum
Health over 6-seconds. Moving, performing an action, or taking damage cancels
the channel. 3-minute cooldown.
Beast Slaying (Passive) — Increases damage dealt to Beasts by
5%.
Regeneration (Passive) — Increases Health regeneration by
10% and allows 10% of normal Health regeneration to continue
during combat.
FAQCan Rapid Regeneration be used in combat, and does taking damage or moving interrupt it?
Troll Priest Racials
Priest racials have also been drastically changed in WoW Forever, with each Priest race receiving their own, unique racials for their own individual playstyle.
Hex of Weakness (Active) — Weakens the target, reducing its
melee attack power and reducing the effectiveness of healing received by
20% for 2-minutes. No cooldown.
Shadowguard (Active) — Surrounds you with shadows. When an
attack hits you, the attacker takes Shadow damage. Attackers can only be damaged
once every few seconds, and the damage causes no threat. Has 3-charges and lasts
10-minutes. No cooldown.
