The Undead, a group of scourge who formerly fought under the Lich King before breaking free of his control, are one of the four Horde races in World of Warcraft: Forever. They can be played as Mages, Paladin, Priests, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors.

1.

Lore Information for Undead

Bound to the iron will of the tyrant Lich King, the vast undead armies of the Scourge seek to eradicate all life on Azeroth. Led by the banshee Sylvanas Windrunner, a group of renegades broke away from the Scourge, and freed themselves of the Lich King's domination. Known by some as the Forsaken, this group fights a constant battle not only to retain their freedom from the Scourge, but also to slaughter those who would hunt them as monsters. With Sylvanas as their banshee queen, the Forsaken have built a dark stronghold beneath the ruins of Lordaeron’s former capital city. This hidden 'Undercity' forms a sprawling labyrinth that stretches beneath the haunted woods of the Tirisfal Glades. Though the very land is cursed, the zealous humans of the Scarlet Crusade still cling to their scattered holdings, obsessed with eradicating the undead and retaking their homeland. Convinced that the primitive races of the Horde can help them achieve victory over their enemies, the Forsaken have entered an alliance of convenience. Harboring no true loyalty for their new allies, they will go to any lengths to ensure their dark plans come to fruition. As one of the Forsaken, you must massacre any who pose a threat to the new order – human, undead, or otherwise.

FAQAre Undead good in WoW Forever?
Undead are a great PvP race, being one of the best options available for melee classes. Will of the Forsaken Icon Will of the Forsaken acts as a secondary PvP trinket, allowing you to escape more crowd-control effects, and Cannibalize Icon Cannibalize can be used to quickly heal up in-between battles. Touch of the Grave grants your damaging attacks a chance to drain your target, healing you for a portion of your max health; this has no internal cooldown and a couple of procs at the right time can easily win you a battle.
2.

Undead Racials

Blizzard's racial re-design philosophy uses four racials per race: two passive effects and two active abilities. The goal is to create a more consistent power level between all races, giving each race its own distinct identity and allowing players to choose the race they like best.

  • Will of the Forsaken Icon Will of the Forsaken (Active) — Removes all Charm, Fear, and Sleep effects. 2-minute cooldown.
  • Cannibalize Icon Cannibalize (Active) — Requires a nearby Humanoid or Undead corpse. Restores 7% of total Health and 7% of total Mana every 2-seconds for 10 seconds, restoring up to 35% Health and 35% Mana. Moving, taking an action, or taking damage cancels the effect. 2-minute cooldown.
  • Underwater Breathing Icon Underwater Breathing (Passive) — Allows you to remain underwater 300% longer.
  • Touch of the Grave (Passive) — Spells and attacks have a 5% chance to drain Health from the target, with the drain valued at up to 5% of your maximum Health.
FAQDoes Will of the Forsaken still grant immunity after removing charm, fear, and sleep effects?
No, Will of the Forsaken Icon Will of the Forsaken only removes the stated effects and does not grant temporary immunity to them.
2.1.

Undead Priest Racials

Priest racials have also been drastically changed in WoW Forever, with each Priest race receiving their own, unique racials for their own individual playstyle.

  • Dark Sacrifice (Active) — Sacrifices a portion of the Priest's health over 15-seconds to restore Mana. 10-minute cooldown.
  • Touch of Weakness Icon Touch of Weakness (Active) — The next melee attack against you deals Shadow damage to the attacker and reduces their melee attack power for 2-minutes. No cooldown.

Undead Playable Classes

Undead have a mix of sustain, utility, and crowd-control resistance, making them a heavily PvP focused race. Touch of the Grave gives spells and attacks a chance to drain Health from the target, healing you for the same amount. Cannibalize Icon Cannibalize restores both Health and Mana by consuming a nearby Humanoid or Undead corpse. Will of the Forsaken Icon Will of the Forsaken removes Charm, Fear, and Sleep effects, giving you a pseudo second PvP trinket to break free from certain crowd control effects. Underwater Breathing Icon Underwater Breathing allows Undead to hold their breath underwater significantly longer than other races, which has several uses throughout the open world while farming and questing.
