Balance Druid Talent Builds for World of Warcraft: Forever
The Balance tree is full of small DPS nodes that we are compelled to take, but that leave us without much flexibility. You will end up with about 5 optional talent points that can go in a number of places. Those points will be explored below.
Balance Default - Eclipse & DoTs
Our default build takes all essential talents, and opts into the small DPS increase of 
Genesis
for its five optional points. The key talents in the Balance tree are 
Moonkin Form,
Eclipse, 
Insect Swarm, and then important cast speed reductions
like 
Improved Wrath and 
Improved Starfire.
Talent Swap Options
Our last five talent points can be used to reduce threat (
Subtlety), improve
our Mana (
Reflection), or for a minor damage increase ( Genesis) if
neither of the first two are required at Level 60.
- You can trade points in Genesis for Subtlety if threat is an issue.
- You can trade points in Genesis for Reflection if Mana is an issue.
