Buy Expert Fishing - The Bass and You from Old Man Heming in Booty Bay. You can read it at character level 20 and Fishing 125 to raise your skill cap to 225.

Buy a pole from Tharynn Bouden in Goldshire, then head northeast to Lee Brown on the western bank of Crystal Lake. Cast from his bank for Raw Brilliant Smallfish and Raw Longjaw Mud Snapper. You can learn Journeyman from Lee without leaving the lake.

From Brewnall Village, head onto the ice at Iceflow Lake. Gretta Ganter sells a pole, and Paxton Ganter teaches Fishing beside the opening in the ice. Stand at the edge of the opening and cast into the water.

Head northeast from Thelsamar to Warg Deepwater on the western shore of the loch. You can train Journeyman with him if you still need it, then cast into the lake for Raw Loch Frenzy. Stay on the bank by Warg as long as you like.

Walk to the shore in Auberdine and fish the open sea beside Gubber Blump for Raw Rainbow Fin Albacore. If you take his fishing quest, you can catch the six Darkshore Grouper he wants from the same spot.

In Revantusk Village, head to Katoom the Angler on the pier and cast into the sea. You can catch Raw Glossy Mightfish here, along with Raw Winter Squid or Raw Summer Bass when each is in season. Use a lure while your effective Fishing skill is below 300.

Return to the Verdantis River bridge southeast of Dire Maul and cast from the bank where you caught Feralas Ahi. The open river is a source of Raw Redgill. Use Bright Baubles if your effective Fishing is still below 300.
