On this page, you will find out the best PvE talent choices and builds for your Restoration Druid in WoW Forever.
Restoration Druid Talent Builds for World of Warcraft: Forever
About 85% of your talents in Forever will be locked in as a Restoration Druid since there is quite a gulf between the good Resto specialization talents and the bad ones. The flexibility and variation in our builds will then come from where we choose to spend the final 10 talent points in the non-restoration trees.
The key talents in the Restoration tree are
Gift of the Earthmother,
Swiftmend,
Reflection and
Wild Growth. Your points
in this tree are fairly fixed.
In the Balance and Feral trees,
Nature's Splendor is mandatory, but most
other talent points are quite flexible.
Heart of the Wild is quite valuable
for its massive 10% intellect boost, and
Genesis is an alright talent as well.
The default build takes
Improved Wrath so that you can DPS during downtime
(and fish for
Omen of Clarity procs), but this is not mandatory.
Restoration Default Build - HoT-maxxing
Our default build gives us extremely flexible options for healing content. It has plenty of points
for both enhancing the powerful
Regrowth, and the extremely fast and
great-scaling
Rejuvenation. We also have enough points to take the emergency heal,
Nature's Swiftness, and all generic stat and healing increases. You will be able
to heal single targets, like the tank, very well without sacrificing any AoE healing output.
Talent Swap Options
The above build is good for all content, but there are a few talent swaps you can make:
- You can trade points in
Genesis for
Moonglow if you want to more efficiently
DPS during downtime without it eating into the Mana you have available to heal. The swap is a somewhat
minor healing loss.
- You can drop the points in
Improved Wrath altogether if you do not plan on pressing any
DPS spells in raid, though you will not be able to trade them for much, if any, healing value.
