February 13th Patch: New Event, Level Cap Increase and a lot More

The big February update is live now and we have the patch/horfix notes! Level Cap Increase, New Seasonal Event and Lot More Coming in February Patch

Borderlands' own Valentine's Day event, Broken Hearts Day, is coming tomorrow, February 13th and it's bringing with it a whole lot of changes. We'll be seeing a 3 level increase with additional skillpoints to use, a toggle for the event itself, the True Takedown mode which brings the raid content back to it's original difficulty, skippable cutscenes, toggleable Guardian ranks and more. We also get to hear about some upcoming improvements in the March patch, including Mayhem 2.0 and FFYL improvements. January 30th Hotfixes: Loot Chest Event, Permanent Maliwan Solo and Rare Buff

Some major changes today as we have two events basically made permanent and a third being added! The solo/sub-4 man scaling for Maliwan Takedown has been made permanent, with a new mode coming soon that will re-enable the old 4-player only mode as an optional toggle; the farming frenzy event has been pretty much made permanent, as rare spawns will get a permanent buff to their spawn rate and a buff to their legendary drop to be the same as other bosses; the new event is a rare chest legendary drop buff that will be active through February 13th. January 23rd Hotfixes: Proving Grounds Loot Buff, Fl4k Buff and More

We have some buffs in today's hotfixes, both for loot and a Vault Hunter, as the Proving Grounds chest gets increased drops and Fl4k's Gamma Burst gets almost double it's radiation damage buff effect. Hotfixes for Jan 16th: Huge Anointed Item Buffs, Events Start and More

We have some really big hotfixes today that will introduce both the Maliwan Takedown scaling event, which sees the raid difficulty scale to the number of players entering it, as well as the Farming Frenzy event, which will see more rare mobs spawned and increase legendary drop chances for all bosses and rares, both lasting until January 30th. But the big news is that anointed items for Fl4k, Moze and Zane are getting massive buffs to offset the power of Amara's, with some tripling the bonuses they offer! There's also some tuning for the bosses in the Handsome Jackpot, as some were on the weak side, a nerf for the Ion Cannon and more. Farming Frenzy Event: Increased Loot Drops and Rare Spawns

We have a new event coming to Borderlands 3 tomorrow, with loot drops from dedicated sources and rare spawns being significantly increased! The farming fun starts at 9 AM PST, 6PM CET tomorrow, January 16th and lasts through the 30th, and you can also combine it with the other event that's happening in the same time period making the Maliwan Takedown raid easier for solo players, so now's the perfect time to farm anything you might be missing! We have the first hotfixes of the new year and they bring news of the scaled down Maliwan Takedown for solo players, which will now take place from January 16th to the 30th, after the recent delay. Handsome Jackpot DLC Live Now + Launch Trailer

Borderlands 3's first big/story DLC has arrived, as Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot is live now! With a brand new story campaign, side-quests, crew challenges, legendaries, skins, and a whole lot of new enemies and locations, this first large chunk of the BL3 DLC pie, and you can start the quest aboard Sanctuary 3 in Moxxi's bar, obviously! There are 6 zones of differing sizes, one being very large, and there is no level cap increase or new skills to be had, however a lot of the new legendaries are very, very good and the loot is plentiful. The DLC is priced at $14,99 and is included in the season pass. We also got some hotfixes today, focusing on the Maliwan Takedown raid and matchmaking improvements in case you missed it. Hotfixes for Dec 19: Solo Takedown, Matchmaking Improvements

We have some hotfixes ahead of today's release of the Handsome Jackpot DLC, with a new year's event for the Maliwan Takedown featuring a change to solo and sub-4 player tuning, with the raid being scaled to the number of players participating! There's also matchmaking improvements for the takedown in general, prioritizing a maximum party over fast matches, which is slightly confusing, since it will actually be the opposite during the Dec 31st-Jan 16th event described above. Stop-motion Holiday Ad, Sales, SHIFT Code Gifts, DLC Lets Play

There's a lot of Borderlands activity this week, with the first story/big DLC coming out tomorrow, December 19th, a new stop-motion trailer arriving, the game being on sale for 35% off and a lot of shift code gifts being given away! Borderlands 3 Patch 5 Notes + Full Week of Gifts

We have a whole lot of Borderlands news today, as patch 5 has landed and we get a holiday themed week with gifts! The biggest changes from the patch are the fact that CoV enemies are getting toned down weapons visually, as the usual rocket launcher spam that would basically blind you should be reduced, as they'll be using bullet versions instead and we'll also actually be able to skip the intro cutscene! December 5th Hotfixes, 13 Minutes of New DLC Gameplay

We have some Handsome Jackpot news today as Gearbox have shared 13 minutes of the upcoming DLC with us! Coming on December 19th, Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot is the first paid DLC, included in the season pass. Maliwan Takedown Patch Breaks Guardian Rank Perks

If you've felt a little weaker in the new content released today and perhaps attributed it to Mayhem 4 being significantly harder, it's not just that. Apparently, as first spotted by several redditors, the patch somehow broke all functionality of the Guardian Rank perks (aka the big bonuses you unlock with x Guardian Ranks).
