Necrophobia Guide for The Forked Tower: Magic

Necrophobia is the third boss of The Forked Tower: Magic. The arena is a circle, and a death wall will spawn alongside the raidwide that will instantly kill any players that touch it. The boss is weak to Ice.

As a reminder, all encounters within FTM will inflict a permanent Vulnerability Up debuff. As such, players intending to greed mechanics must be aware that doing so too often can lead to instant and unavoidable death due to unavoidable damage becoming too great to survive.

  • Keeping melee uptime in this boss can be difficult due to the large size of many AoEs. Players who are not confident in their ability to read Heads Roll may wish to avoid greeding to have a larger margin of safety for incoming damage during these mechanics if they make a mistake.

Rewards and Proceeding Onwards

Clearing Necrophobia will reward players with a personal treasure coffers that only they can see, which can be found near the exit of the boss arena.

There is a stretch of walkway between the third boss and the fourth, and players will be required to defeat all enemies here in order to progress. A treasure coffer will appear upon defeating all enemies. Next, players that have Phantom Thief mastered will wish to use Lockpicker in order to open two locked doors and reveal two more treasure coffers.

The next boss is The Index.
