Occult Crescent Magic Pot Locations and Rewards
Learn everything we know about the Magic Pots mechanic in the Field Operation Occult Crescent. Learn what Magic Pots are, rewards and more!
What are Magic Pots in Occult Crescent?
Similar to Happy Bunnies in Eureka, Special FATEs can spawn in The South Horn. Completing these FATEs with a Gold rank will usually reward the player with a Magical Elixir key item, and a Magic Pot will spawn and follow the player. These Magic Pots can take damage from telegraphed attacks, and if either the pot or the player drops to zero HP, they will flee and you will be unable to receive any rewards.
By using the Magical Elixir item, a text pop-up will appear that tells the player which direction they need to travel in order to uncover a hidden treasure coffer. This item is reusable and has a five second recast time, and there is no penalty for using it multiple times.
- A text pop-up saying 'Far, Far to the [direction]' means that you may need to travel a long distance in order to locate it. Consider using Return and taking an aetheryte.
- A text pop-up saying 'Far to the [direction]' or 'to the [direction]' means that you are drawing closer to the location. Keep a look out for enemies.
- A text pop-up saying 'Immediately to the [direction]' means it is extremely close by. You must use the Magical Elixir within a certain range of the coffer in order to reveal it.
These coffers can be either Bronze, Silver, or Gold, with the rarer ones giving more gil as well as rarer and more valuable rewards. Upon opening the coffer, there is a chance that the pot will decide to lead you to a second coffer. Should this occur, simply repeat the same process as above.
Magic Pots in the South Horn
In the South Horn, there are two FATEs available to obtain Magic Pots from: Persistent Pots
(X:25.6, Y:17.1) and Pleading Pots (X:11.9, Y:32.0). Both of these FATEs can spawn simultaneously
to regular FATEs or Critical Encounters in the area, and also have a chance to drop Notes on Persistent Pots
as well as a Demiatma for the Phantom Relics.
The map below, created by Infi from The Balance, shows the location of all possible Magic Pot
coffers in the South Horn. Notable rewards from these coffers include the Tipping Tortoise minion,
Ballroom Etiquette: Fashion Forward, and the
Petalodus Whistle.

Magic Pots in the North Horn
This page will be updated with a map of Magic Pot coffer locations in the North Horn once the content releases in Patch 7.55, as well as any mechanics or rewards unique to that area.
