Spark Crafting Guide for Midnight

The Spark of Radiance is a rare reagent that serves as a time gate to Season 1 combat crafting gear in Midnight. You can get one per week through repeatable weekly quests given out in the main expansion hub, and most types of content will randomly award sparks if you are behind the maximum amount currently available.

Two sparks are used to create most crafted gear, with four being required for gear that fills two slots at once, specifically two-handed weapons. This means that you can craft a new piece of gear every two weeks if you keep up with your spark cap.

By default, epic items created with the Spark can go up to 259 item level, but you can add 80 Hero or Myth crests as optional reagents in order to make them go up to 272 or 285 item level at maximum quality!

Rare gear, such as Gleaming Copper Band, is crafted without a spark and you can add 80 Adventurer or Veteran crests to their craft in order to raise their potential item levels from 214 to 233 (Adventurer) or 246 (Veteran).
