The Coiled Isle Zone Guide

Access to the Coiled Isle is initially locked - trying to approach the isle will get you kicked out of the zone. To gain access to the Isle, you must start the Patch 12.1 storyline, which begins with the quest Hagar's Invitation in Silvermoon City.

Full access is unlocked upon completion of What Lies Beyond the Fog and allows you to enter the Coiled Isle with your entire Warband.

Ula'tek Uncoiled is a meta achievement that requires you to complete several achievements in the Coiled Isle. Read on to learn how to complete all achievements involved, and their rewards.

We recommend installing TomTom, the premier WoW navigation assistant addon. TomTom is a lightweight addon that provides you with customizable waypoints and coordinates.

Throughout the guide, you will see multiple lines of text featuring coordinates. These can be input in TomTom on a separate text box via the /ttpaste command.

Here are all the rewards you will earn while working on achievements in the Coiled Isle.

• Coiled to Strike gives you the Amani Forge housing decor.
• Although not explicitly a reward for Coiled to Strike, Coiled Isle rares have a chance to drop the Ruby Writhe and Topaz Skyfang mounts.
• Treasures of the Coiled Isle gives you the Auriferous Venomfang mount.
• Student of Hissstory gives you the Cursed Badge of the Soulcoilers toy.
• Tour of Duty: The Coiled Isle gives you the Ula'tek's Sssacrificial Rain toy.
• Angler of The Coiled Isle gives you the Dustlord title.
• Angler of The Coiled Isle gives you the Sinful Pearl customization.
• Cursebreaker gives you the Cursebreaker title.

The Coiled Isle gives players plenty of things to do. Among them you will find a new world event to engage with, and many new treasures to unearth.

Curse Surges are a new world activity in the Coiled Isle. These are quick scenario events that spawn in 5 locations in the Coiled Isle, represented by a poison vignette on your map.

Curse Surges spawn roughly every hour and are comprised of an initial event where you need to clear objectives, and a final boss at the end. Completing a Curse Surge gives you a Venom-Soaked Satchel, which rewards Voidlight Marl and Adventurer Mistcrest.

The achievement Coiled to Strike requires you to kill every rare mob in the Coiled Isle. There are 12 rares in total for this achievement.

Each rare in the Coiled Isle grants 50 Reputation with the Zul'jarra's Forces renown faction on their first kill, and most of them are fairly straightforward. You can also farm rares daily for Coffer Key Shard and Adventurer-track gear.

Kari'zah the Forgotten	South of The Forum, by a sewer exit facing the ocean.
Lockjaw	In the North area of The Forum, on the top level of a waterfall.
Hisstara	In the Venom Rise area, inside a building south of the Gate of the Serpent's Eye entrance.
Garsecg	In the Mlurkkr Mire area, south of the tower that hosts the Mlurkkr Massacre Curse Surge.
Nar'zira	Northwest of Tokka's Landing, inside the Tomb of the Lost Priest building at the start of the Serpent's Tail area.
Coin-Eye Skully	South of Tokka's Landing, swimming around the entrance to the Tidebound Grotto world boss.
Big Mon	In the Whispering Marsh area, patrolling around the Altar of Wrath. Can drop Lil' Mon.
Sss'alik	Just North of Tokka's Landing, under a rock formation.
Destra	In the Northern Part of the Serpent's Tail, Southwest of the entrance to the Az'tarec delve.
Szarith the Fanged	DANGER! Area is covered in Rare-Elites! Inside the Underbelly area in the north of the Vaults of Atal'Utek.

The achievement Treasures of the Coiled Isle requires you to uncover all hidden treasures across the Coiled Isle. There are 22 treasures in total through the zone.

Each treasure grants 50 Reputation with the Zul'jarra's Forces renown faction, and are obtained by doing a variety of activities throughout the Coiled Isle.

Amani Privateer's Cache	Idol of Blue Water and Blue Sky	In the Ring of Glory zone, by the ocean just East of the Altar of Wrath. Unlocking it requires assembling the Amani Privateer's Key, which requires a small puzzle to collect two items: Just north of the chest location, fish the Grisly Cod pool for a Grisly Morsel. You have two minutes to give it to the Hungry Dolphin swimming just to the East of the chest. The dolphin will use its sonar effect to help you collect treasure for five minutes. The Privateer's Teeth Half of Key is just East of where you originally encountered the Hungry Dolphin, underwater on the South side of the delta leading to the ocean. The Privateer's Loop Half of Key is just North of the first half of the key, hidden behind a rock. Once both key halves are obtained, combine them into the Amani Privateer's Key and use it to open the chest containing the treasure.
Fangbound Sack	Focus of Fangs	Just South of the entrance to the Gate of the East Serpent.
Sunken Diver's Chest	Percival	Underwater on the Northwest portion of the Diver's Arch. Unlocking it requires assembling the Diver's Key. Kill Glittering Grouper Brinetails swimming around the chest to loot three Diver's Key Fragment, and combine them to obtain the key and open the treasure.
Grave of Someone Forgotten	Forgotten Memento	East of Tokka's Landing, on top of a cliff overlooking the Ring of Glory. Interact with the Nameless Grave to learn that the ghost is trying to remember who he is so he can rest. His first clue is "Jin'ta", and you will need to talk to three NPCs in order. Speak with Zan'ja just Northwest of the entrance to the Ring of Glory delve, sitting by a pillar overlooking the Ring of Glory. Speak with Ru'ko just West of the Ring of Glory arena, sitting on top of the southern gates that lead to the arena. Speak with Zuzan just North of the Ring of Glory, sitting by the walls around the vendors area. Once you speak with all three NPCs, return to the grave. The Forgotten Soldier will be gone, and you will be able to loot the grave for the treasure.
Profane Ritual Spoils	Profane Ritual Staff	Southwest of the Gate of the East Serpent, by a venom river flowing above the gate. To unlock the treasure, complete the minigame in the following order: Top Right > Top Left > Bottom Right > Bottom Left.
Brine-Crusted Chest	Pearl of Jubilation	Inside a cave on the Southern part of the Whispering Marsh. To unlock the chest, you must go dive in the ocean water south of the cave. If you look at the cave, you will notice plenty of giant white pearls. Look around sea kelp clusters underwater until you find a similar white pearl. Looting it gives you a Luminescent Pearl. Once you have the pearl, return to the cave, and you will be prompted to drop it to Nacretta, who will happily exchange it for the Dropped Key to unlock the treasure.

Vul'zahn's Smuggled Treasure	Vul'zahn's Smuggled Spear	To the left of the inn in Tokka's Landing. To obtain it, you must go through a trading mini game in the hub: Speak with Vul'zahn right next to the chest. He says you can get the chest once you bring him some food. Go just South to speak with the Witherbark Cook. He is cooking some stew, but is currently getting over a headache. Go just West to talk with Apothecary Dezi, who will give you a Potion of Headache Relief. Bring the potion back to the Witherbark Cook to get some Snuffling Boar Stew. Bring the stew back to Vul'zahn to obtain the Soldier's Smuggled Treasure Key and use it to unlock the treasure.

The achievement Student of Hissstory requires you to locate all lore objects across the Coiled Isles. There are 10 lore objects, and they show up on your minimap with an hourglass vignette

Each lore object in the Coiled Isle grants 250 Reputation with the Zul'jarra's Forces renown faction, so completing this quick achievement is a nice way to get a head start on your renown grind!

Like other zones, the Coiled Isle offers plenty of side quests for players to complete. Completing them awards reputation with the Zul'jarra's Forces renown faction, as well as other cosmetic rewards.

• Completing a side quest in the Coiled Isle awards 50 Reputation with Zul'jarra's Forces.
• Completing the final quest of a side quest storyline in the Coiled Isle awards 250 Reputation with Zul'jarra's Forces.
