1.

Introduction

Steady Flight (or regular flying) is the alternative to Skyriding. This flight mode allows you to freely move your character in the air, including standing still, but moves at significantly shorter speeds than Skyriding.

2.

When Does Steady Flight Unlock?

Steady Flight unlocks when you earn the Expert Riding Icon Expert Riding skill at Level 20. At Level 30, you will learn Master Riding Icon Master Riding allowing you to ride at the highest possible speed on your flying mount.

3.

Steady Flight Flying Speeds

Expert Riding Icon Expert Riding increases your flight speed by 220%. Master Riding Icon Master Riding increases your flight speed by 420%.

4.

Switch Flight Style

At Level 20, you will unlock Switch Flight Style Icon Switch Flight Style that allows you to switch between Steady Flight and Skyriding.

You will find this option in your mounts tab by pressing Shift+P and selecting the option as shown in the image.
