Overview
Anduin engages players while battling his own domination. Anduin's Kingsmourne Hungers separates players from their souls, allowing them to aid Anduin's true self and restore his Willpower.
Throughout the encounter, Anduin temporarily manifests the source of his domination. This manifestation is linked to him by Domination's Grasp.
- Blasphemy is neutralized when coming into contact with the opposite mark.
- Monstorous Souls begin to cast Necrotic Detonation at low health.
- Anduin's Doubt and Anduin's Despair restore Willpower to Anduin when defeated.
- Blasphemy is neutralized when coming into contact with the opposite mark.
- When Anduin's Hope reaches full health, it restores Willpower to Anduin.
- Befouled Barrier absorbs the healing of players standing in the area and erupts at the end of its duration. The intensity of this eruption is based on the remaining absorption amount of the barrier.
- Dark Zeal increases in intensity with every melee attack until Anduin attacks a different target.
- Soul Reaper inflicts substantial Physical and Magical damage.
- Blasphemy is neutralized when coming into contact with the opposite mark.
Stage One: Kingsmourne Hungers
Anduin gradually restores his willpower while in combat. Anduin consumes his Willpower to empower players with Force of Will before manifesting the source of his domination.
Anduin grants players up to 200% increased damage done and 90% reduced damage taken, based on the amount of Willpower consumed.
Anduin intensifies the light and darkness within several players marking them with Overconfidence or Hopelessness for 8 sec. Coming into contact with the opposing mark neutralizes the effect on both players.
After 8 sec marked players explode, inflicting $?diff15|diff16 [25,121 Twilight damage to all players within 6 yds.][]$?diff14|diff17 [47,102 Twilight damage.][] Coming into contact with the same mark$?diff16 [ or an unmarked player][] also causes this explosion.
Anduin summons a Befouled Barrier that inflicts 10,990 Twilight damage to all players and creates a barrier that persists for 25 sec. 50% of healing received by players within the area is redirected to the barrier. Up to 138,600 healing received reduces the size of the barrier.
Upon expiration, the barrier explodes and inflicts 15,700 Twilight damage, tainting all players. This effect absorbs up to 308 healing received based on the size of the Befouled Barrier.
Anduin sends forth waves of dark energy that travel out and return to their origin. Players hit suffer 7,700 Twilight damage every 1 sec and are unable to attack or cast spells for 4 sec. $?diff15|diff16 [ Anduin's minions hit by a Wicked Star heal 5% of their maximum health every 1 sec and are immune to crowd control and interrupt effects for 4 sec.][]
Anduin plunges Kingsmourne into the ground unleashing a wave of maw energy, inflicting 12,567 Shadow damage to all players and an additional 314 Shadow damage every 2 sec until Anduin reaches 100 willpower. This effect stacks.
Anduin afflicts players with a word of darkness that inflicts 3,080 Shadow damage every 2 sec for 12 sec.
With each consecutive melee attack against the same target, Anduin's attack speed increases by 7%. This effect stacks.
Intermission: A Fallen King
The Remnant's domination over Anduin's soul links them, transferring 100% of damage taken to Anduin.
The presence of the Fallen King invokes a raging storm that inflicts 7,850 Shadowfrost damage every 1 sec to all players.
This effect stacks, increasing in stack count every 5 sec.
The Fallen King strikes at the target's soul. This grants the Fallen King 100% attack speed for 8 sec and inflicts 471,025 Physical and 125,606 Shadowfrost damage to the target.
This effect increases the target's Physical damage taken by 150% for 15 sec.
Fiendish souls flood the arena, attacking enemies of the Fallen King.
Leaps towards a target, inflicting 25,121 Physical damage to all players within 8 yards and reducing the effectiveness of healing and absorption effects received by 1%.
Stage Two: Grim Reflections
Anduin gradually restores his willpower while in combat. Anduin consumes his Willpower to empower players with Force of Will before manifesting the source of his domination.
Anduin grants players up to 200% increased damage done and 90% reduced damage taken, based on the amount of Willpower consumed.
Anduin manifests dark images of himself throughout the arena that cast Psychic Terror.
The reflection lets out a psychic scream, $?diff14|diff15|diff16 [causing all players to flee for 3 sec and][] inflicts 6,160 Shadow damage every 1 sec for 20 sec.

In a moment of clarity, Anduin summons a Beacon of Hope. Players that enter the area have applications of Hopelessness removed, reducing the size of the barrier and applying Purging Light to all players for 3 sec.
The beacon erupts when purging the effects of Hopelessness, inflicting 1,232 Holy damage every 1 sec to all players for 3 sec. This effect stacks.
Anduin intensifies the darkness within players afflicting them with Hopelessness.
Afflicted players suffer 628 Shadow damage every 1 sec and after 30 sec marked players explode, inflicting $?diff15|diff16 [25,121 Twilight damage to all players within 6 yds.][]$?diff14|diff17 [47,102 Twilight damage.][] Coming into contact with the same mark$?diff16 [ or an unmarked player][] also causes this explosion.
