Tier ? Abilities
Ky'veza has only one phase. This fight is all about dodging her 4 deadly abilities cast on a fixed rotation.
Nexus Daggers — Ky'veza flings 5 regal knives in multiple directions, inflicting Shadow damage to any player struck.
Nether Rift — Ky'veza tears open a rift to the Twisting Nether, inflicting Shadow damage to players within 5 yards. The rift inflicts Shadow damage to all players every second for 4 seconds and pulls players towards its center (1.5-second cast time).
Dark Massacre — 3 Nether Phantoms ambush you and strike from the shadows, inflicting Shadow damage. Failing to face a phantom as it dashes instead inflicts Shadow damage.
Invoke the Shadows — Ky'veza summons several Nether Phantoms.
Tier ? Rotation
Here is Ky'veza's full rotation. Every time she finishes casting her rotation, she will gain 1 stack of the
Death Cloak buff that increases her damage done by 5%. This effect stacks.

Tier ? Defeat Strategy
- Dodge
Nexus Daggers as they appear on the ground. Quickly move to a safe spot when you have multiple pulses overlapping. Keep in mind the safe spots are quite narrow and we recommend a few blind tries to get the hang of the rhythm.
- When
Nether Rift is cast, a portal will appear beneath you. Move it to a spot where it, Brann’s portal, and the existing portal form a triangle. These portals pull you toward them, so keeping them in a triangular formation lets the pull effects cancel out. Once placed, stand in the middle of the triangle (room) and continue attacking the boss.
- When Ky'veza summons 3 illusions via
Dark Massacre, you need to face them quickly or reposition the boss between you and the illusion. Otherwise, you will get one-shot.
- Ky’veza ends her rotation with
Invoke the Shadows, summoning several illusions in the middle of the room. You must watch closely, because the first one to move is the real Ky’veza. Follow her as she jumps between positions, then click her once the movement stops. Picking the wrong one, or not clicking in time, will result in a wipe.
Tier ?? Abilities
Ky'veza does not gain any new abilities on ?? difficulty. Instead, all the existing abilities become more powerful and deadly.
Ability Changes Compared to ? Difficulty
Nexus Daggers now pulses 7 times.
Nether Rift now limits where you can drop the puddle.
Dark Massacre summons 6 Nether Phantoms.
Invoke the Shadows spawn more Nether Phantoms, they also move faster, making it harder to identify the real Ky'veza.
