Pit of Saron Dungeon Guide: Location, Boss Strategies, and Trash

This guide will focus on an extensive overview of the dungeon, providing vital information to complete it across all difficulties (Normal, Heroic, and Mythic). We will cover all 3 boss fights supported by the most notable trash enemies in the dungeon and their important abilities. • Decurse any Curse of Torment coming from Quarry Tormentor.
• Interrupt Gloombound Shadebringer's Shadow Bolt.
• Avoid Ymirjar Graveblade's Dark Rupture ground puddles. In addition, your tank must pay attention to their Frostbane Slash heavy tank buster.
• IMPORTANT MOBInterrupt Dreadpulse Lich's Icy Blast at all cost. You can drop combat (with Feign Death or Vanish) during their Torrent of Misery channel. At last, once they go below 50%HP they will get Dread Pulse until it is defeated.
• Focus on breaking Plungetalon Gargoyle's Stoneskin so you can interrupt its Plungegrip abduction (alternative you can use drop combat spells like Vanish & Feign Death etc.).
• Avoid the Iceborn Proto-Drake's Frost Breath frontal.

• If you get targeted by Throw Saronite, make sure to place the Ore Chunks closer to each other, so your tank can break it easier with Orebreaker.
• Use defensives during Cryostomp, as it will do group-wide damage and give 2 people a nasty Cryoshards debuff.
• During Glacial Overload, make sure to stay behind an Ore Chunks to prevent you from tacking unnecessary stacks (it will likely kill you if you have more than 3).

• During Orebreaker, you must 1 Orebreaker, if there are multiple, the Cryostomp will likely wipe your team.

• Use your healing cooldowns during Cryostomp as it does group-wide damage. Dispel 1 target from Cryoshards as quickly as you can.
• Throughout the whole encounter, you will also be accompanied by Siphoning Chill damage aura, so make sure to put the best healing talents possible here!

Remember, both bosses share health due to Necrolink, make sure to cleave them!

• Sidestep the Plague Globs cast and stay away from the ground ichor ( Blight).
• Interrupt Krick's Death Bolt.
• During Shade Shift, focus all the Shades of Krick first and do your best to interrupt Shadowbind cast (it is a Curse effect so you can also de-curse it or use any combat-cancellation effect like Vanish).
• If you get Lumbering Fixation, make sure to stay away from the boss to avoid being meleed.

• Use your major defensive cooldowns during Blight Smash cast and stay away from the Blight ground ichors.
• Try to always have both bosses together for a better cleave.

• Spot-heal people during Shadow Lance cast and be mindful when Plague Expulsion happens.

• Avoid stacking during Glacieth's Cryoburst and stay out of the Cryopatch icy ground. Make sure to attack from the back during Focused Guard channel otherwise you will do 99% reduced damage.

• If you get Rime Blast debuff, make sure to place it on top of the Infused Bone Piles & Bone Piles to make the Phase 2 of the boss fight much easier during Army of the Dead.
• Use defensives during Bone Infusion.
• During Army of the Dead, focus the Scourge Plaguespreader and interrupt their cast at all costs.
• Sidestep Death's Grasp ground puddles.
• Avoid being hit by the Ice Barrage during Army of the Dead phase.

• Use your major defensive cooldowns during Scourgelord's Brand and avoid begin hit by Scourgelord's Reckoning.

• Use your major healing cooldowns during Bone Infusion cast.

Keystone Hero: Pit of Saron	Complete Pit of Saron at Mythic Level 10 or higher, within the time limit. Reward, Teleport to Pit of Saron.
