Den of Nalorakk

to complete it across all difficulties (Normal,
Heroic,
and
Mythic). We will cover all 3 boss fights supported by the most
notable trash enemies in the dungeon and their important abilities.

2.
The Hoardmonger and Trash Mobs
2.1.
Notable Trash before The Hoardmonger
- Keep an eye on the stackable
Razor Dive
Bleed effect coming from
Keen-Eyed Striker, if you have multiple stacks, use a defensive. - Thornclaw Gatherer are tank and spank mobs; they will only be dangerous to
your tank due to its
Shredding Claws stackable debuff that reduces armor. They
also spawn
Rotten Supplies ground ichor; make sure to stay away from it! - If you have
Enrage dispel, it will be wise to use it on Territorial Matriarch's
Mother's Wrath as they hit your tank quite hard! - Interrupt Earthwhisper Tender's
Earth Bolt. Make sure to stop
their
Healing Breeze at all costs as it also heals nearby mobs! - When fighting Spirit of Hunger, use a defensive cooldown when it channels
Feast of Misery as it does group-wide damage. In addition, focus down the totem they
spawn, as it further weakens your party thanks to its
Starvation Effigy aura.
2.2.
The Hoardmonger Boss Guide
2.3.
All Roles
- Avoid getting hit by the
Earthshatter Slam frontal. - During the
Spoiled Supplies channel, make sure your party spreads
around and soaks all of the growing mushrooms to prevent them from detonating
Putrid Burst
(it deals massive group-wide damage and leads to a wipe). Keep in mind that each time you soak a mushroom,
you will get a stackable
Toxic Spores
Poison effect.
2.4.
Tank
- As the most durable member of your party, try to soak as many mushrooms to help your team.
2.5.
Healer
- Use your healing cooldowns during
Ravenous Bellow cast.
3.
Sentinel of Winter and Trash Mobs
3.1.
Notable Trash before Sentinel of Winter
- Run away from the Avatar of Determination's
Pulverize.
The mob will occasionally cast
Glacial Tomb, rooting all members; make sure to
break the roots (you can damage them) before the next
Pulverize. - Dispel the
Cryo Surge debuff coming from Glacial Revenant.
If the debuff persists on you, make sure you are not near any party members to avoid unnecessary
group-wide damage. - Interrupt Frigid Mauler's
Frigid Roar. - If you choose to engage the The Winter Squall NPC located just before
the Sentinel of Winter boss, you need to pay attention to its
Harsh Winter
aura, especially dangerous if you fight other mobs altogether.
3.2.
Sentinel of Winter Boss Guide
3.3.
All Roles
- Avoid being hit by the
Raging Squall tornadoes. - During the
Shattering Frostspike, the boss will spawn 2
Fractured Shivercore mobs; make sure to interrupt as many
Winter's Shroud
casts as you can. Upon defeating Fractured Shivercore, it will spawn
Rimeshatter,
make sure 1 member of your party soaks it to avoid the
Rime Detonation after-effect.
At last, once you defeat a Fractured Shivercore, it will leave an
Snowdrift aura,
which then you can use to become immune against forced effects and avoid any unnecessary damage coming
from the
Frozen Tempest channel. - The goal of the fight here is to defeat 1 Fractured Shivercore really quick, soak the
Rimeshatter and get onto the next Fractured Shivercore. Make sure not to kill it too quickly but
rather sync it with the
Frozen Tempest channel, so you will become immune to knock-back
effects and take minimal damage.
3.4.
Tank
- Positon the boss closer to each Fractured Shivercore to allow your party to actively cleave both targets.
3.5.
Healer
- Dispel as many
Glacial Torment debuffs as you can.
4.
Nalorakk and Trash Mobs
4.1.
Notable Trash before Nalorakk
- Interrupt Stormbound Mystic's
Arc Lightning. Any spare
interrupts can be used for
Lightning Bolt. - Focus the
Magma Totem coming from Ruthless Totemcaller. - Dodge the Grizzled Warbringer's
Poison Spear Volley ground puddles
and use defensive as appropriate during the
Primal Echo cast. - Be mindful when Bonded Beasttamer casts
Bestial Wrath
Enrage
and lets its Loyal Saberfang
Fixate on you. - Interrupt Loa Speaker Nanea's
Lightning Bolt, place away
the
Earthquake debuff and kill as quickly as you can the 56t
spawns.
4.2.
Nalorakk Boss Guide
4.3.
All Roles
- When you get
Echoing Maul, try to position them into the nearby corner; this
way, during the
Fury of the War God phase, you will handle all of the shades much more easily.
The goal of the encounter is to prevent the bear-shades reaching up to Zul'jarra in the middle;
do keep in mind each time you neutralize a shade (soaking it or just standing in the path between
the boss), you will take damage from
Echoing Fury, so use defensives as appropriate. - During
Overwhelming Onslaught, make sure you position behind the shield of
Nalorakk to avoid taking lethal damage.
4.4.
Tank
- After the
Overwhelming Onslaught cast, you have to soak the
Forceful Slam tank buster.
4.5.
Healer
- Keep everyone healthy during
Overwhelming Onslaught as there will be a
ton of group-wide damage.
