The War Within Patch 11.2.5 Guide (Features and Content Overview)

Patch 11.2.5 is the penultimate patch of The War Within expansion. No official release date has been confirmed yet, but we anticipate it will release October 7, 2025, in North America and one day later in Europe.

The main features of the patch are Legion: Remix and WoW's 21st Anniversary Event. We are not sure if we will see any changes to the anniversary event at this time because Blizzard overhauled it last year. A few week after the patch goes live, Turbo Boost will be available in Season 3.

Here are the estimated start times of the two events confirmed for the patch.

• October 7 (Estimated Start Date): Legion: Remix.
• October 22 (Estimated Start Date): World of Warcraft's 21st Anniversary Event.
• October 28 (Estimated Start Date): Turbo Boost starts bringing with it 2 more gear upgrade ranks for Hero/Myth-tracks, Puzzling Cartel Chips, and more.

Legion Remix is a limited-time game mode where you can create a Timerunne and blitz through all of Legion's content. It offers unique rewards that you do not want to miss!

World of Warcraft's turning 21 years in 2025! During the anniversary celebration, you can earn Bronze Celebration Tokens and add various new rewards to your collection by participating in many activities that the event has to offer.

Turbo Boost is an event that Blizzard introduces later on in a season. It adds 2 more gear upgrade ranks for Hero and Myth track gear, uncaps crests, and introduces Puzzling Cartel Chips that can be used to purchase specific raid and Mythic+ gear straight from vendors.
