Quick TLDR Guide
1.1.
Boss Abilities:
- Tanks: Stand on top of each other at all times. Igira will hit the current target and whoever is closest to that player.
- Tanks: Each attack applies Drenched Blades to the primary target. Swap at 6 stacks, and then when the debuff drops off.
- Twisting Blade is targeted at Melee DPS. Aim this away from Ranged DPS.
- Up to 6 players are targeted with Blistering Spear
- These players can stack on each other, but no more than 2 should be stacked in a single location.
- People with Blistering Spear cannot move out of the area of the spear (you get stunned).
- All players should target the spears and destroy them.
- Healers: Standing in a spear will cause players to take a moderate amount of damage every second; be ready to heal a lot of players.
- After two sets of spears, Igira will reach 100 energy and start the Intermission.
1.2.
Intermission:
- At the start of the Intermission the raid will be knocked back and three weapons will spawn. You need to soak one of these fully before the Intermission ends, or you will wipe.
- The weapon you soak will dictate what mechanics Igaria will do in the next phase.
- Healers: The raid will be taking unavoidable damage from Searing Sparks.
- Avoid standing in Searing Sparks pools, as you will take a large amount of damage and be knocked back.
- After each intermission Igira will buff herself with Harvest of Screams increasing her damage by 10% and gain the effects of the weapon the raid has soaked for one phase.
- Heroic: Soaking a weapon will apply a 100% damage taken increase to soaking weapons in future intermissions.
1.3.
Weapons:
Weapon Abilities replace the Spears and will happen twice before the boss goes back to doing spears.
1.3.1.
Hacking Torment - Meteor Soak
- This weapon places a large AoE zone on the tank, which will deal damage to the entire raid based on the amount of players hit.
- Players cannot soak this twice in a row.
- Split the raid into two teams, and they will soak the first or the second smash.
1.3.2.
Slicing Torment - Leaps
- Igira will leap to the furthest target and spawn waves, which players must avoid.
- She will then leap to the next furthest target and return to the tank.
- Heroic Each leap will create lines of fire across the room. Avoid these.
1.3.3.
Flaying Torment - Heal Absorb
- Up to half of the raid will have this absorb applied to them.
- After the absorb has been removed, it will deal AoE damage around the player and fire orbs across the room.
- Spread out when you get the absorb.
- Heroic When the heal absorb is removed, you will fire orbs across the room. Avoid these.
- If players are dead this may go on tanks or the same player twice in a row.

1.4.
Boss Abilities:
- It is absolutely imperative that both Tanks stand on top of each other as Vicious Swing will hit the target closest to the current tank.
- If no second player is nearby, she will hit the tank twice. Ensure melee DPS do not move on top of the tanks, as they will die.
- Tanks: Each attack applies Drenched Blades to the primary target. Swap at 6 stacks and then when the debuff drops off.
- Twisting Blade is targeted at Melee DPS. For this reason, ranged DPS should be pre-positioned at the next weapon they want to soak in the Intermission, and melee should not stand between the boss and the ranged group to ensure Twisting Blade does not go towards them and force them to move and lose DPS uptime.
- Blistering Spear will target up to 6 players. These players will have a short period of time to move before they are rooted to the spear.
- If they try to move out of the spear location, they will be stunned.
- The spears can be stacked on each other, but stacking more than 2 of them in a single location may be deadly.
- Any players standing inside the spear area will take ticking damage.
- All players should target the spears and destroy them.
- After two sets of spears, Igira will reach 100 energy and start the Intermission.
1.5.
Intermission:
- At the start of the Intermission the raid will be knocked back and three weapons will spawn. You need to soak one of these fully before the Intermission ends, or you will wipe.
- Each weapon that you can pick is surrounded in Gathering Torment. Stand in this to reduce the size of it whilst taking a small amount of ticking damage. Once you have fully soaked this, the weapon will be selected for the Intermission, and you will have to deal with the mechanics of that weapon twice.
- Whilst you are in the Intermission, Igira will be creating Searing Sparks's. Each cast will deal unavoidable raid-wide damage and spawn a spark at player locations. Aim to be moving as a raid to avoid the total amount of movement you need to do.
- Any players hit by a Searing Sparks pool will take a large amount of damage and be knocked back.
- After each intermission Igira will buff herself with Harvest of Screams increasing her damage by 10% and gain the effects of the weapon the raid has soaked for one phase.
- If no weapons are fully soaked in the Intermission, the raid will wipe as Igira will cast Ruinous End.
1.6.
Weapons:
- Soaking a weapon will apply a stack of Flesh Mortification, which increases the ticking damage from soaking Gathering Torment by 100% in future intermissions.
- Testing notes: This damage increase did not really feel that impactful when the whole raid soaked the weapon each time, as it would be dealt with in a few ticks.
- Weapon Abilities replace the Spears and will happen twice before the boss goes back to doing spears.
1.6.1.
Hacking Torment - Meteor Soak
- If you soaked this weapon split the raid into two groups which will stand on the boss. Umbral Destruction is a meteor-like effect placed on the tank. This deals raid-wide damage based on the amount of players it hit, however, after soaking one of these
- The Brutalized debuff will be applied which makes you unable to split the damage on the next cast.
1.6.2.
Slicing Torment - Leaps
- Igira will target the furthest player from her and leap on them. This will be indicated by a large circle being placed on that player.
- Once Igira starts the leap, this player can move out of the impact zone to avoid taking a large amount of damage.
- Igira will then leap on the next furthest player and return to the tanks.
- Tanks: Ensure you remain stacked together during this mechanic to avoid melee DPS being killed.
1.7.
Heroic Changes:
- Each leap will trigger Devastation, which will create pools of fire that go across the room. Avoid these.
- It can be beneficial to have mobile ranged DPS players move slightly away from the raid to lower the total amount of movement the raid needs to do.
1.7.1.
Flaying Torment - Heal Absorb
- Up to half of the raid will have this absorb applied to them, indicated by a circle being placed around them. These players should move away from the raid.
- All of these players have a large heal absorb applied to them, which needs to be healed off in 15 seconds.
- When this heal absorb has been removed, players within the circle will take a large amount of damage.
- Testing Note: If players are dead, this may go on tanks or the same player twice in a row.
1.8.
Heroic Changes:
- After the heal absorb is removed, you will fire Vital Rupture orbs across the room. Try to not be near other players when you spread out and avoid the orbs.
2.
Mythic Strategy
Currently, this tab will only contain information on what changes on Mythic. A more robust strategy will be added after the raid goes live.
1.9.
Mythic Changes:
- Igira will now pick up two weapons after the Intermission and use both abilities to create combinations of mechanics to avoid.
- Meteor and Leaps: This is the easiest of the combinations as you simply divide the raid in two teams to split the Meteor and avoid the leaps that happen shortly after.
- Meteor and Heal Absorb: The heal absorb comes out first, so that will be what splits the raid in two. People who get the heal absorbs run away, and the rest will stay on the boss to split the Meteor. The next heal absorbs will then go on all players who soaked the first Meteor.
- Leaps and Heal Absorb: This overlap is the most problematic as it involves the most unavoidable mechanics. The leaps will force everyone to move, and the heal-absorb orbs will force people to be very spread and move even more.
