Sulfuras Legendary Weapon Transmogrification Guide

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros is a mace wielded by Ragnaros, the Firelord. You will need Eye of Sulfuras and Sulfuron Hammer to create it.

Eye of Sulfuras has a very small chance to drop from Ragnaros in Molten Core. The raid entrance is located in Blackrock Mountain (Burning Steppes). When you enter the Molten Span, fly straight down until you find Lothos Riftwaker who will teleport you into the raid.

Sulfuron Hammer is crafted by a Blacksmith at a special Black Anvil in Blackrock Depths. To be able to purchase the Plans: Sulfuron Hammer from Lokhtos Darkbargainer at Grim Guzzler in Blackrock Depths, you must have at least one Sulfuron Ingot in your inventory which drops from Golemagg the Incinerator in Molten Core.

In order to craft Sulfuron Hammer, you will need:

• 50 Arcanite Bars (transmuted by Alchemists);
• 25 Essence of Fire (drop from Molten Core trash mobs and bosses);
• 20 Dark Iron Bars (smelted by Miners);
• 10 Blood of the Mountain (obtained from mining Dark Iron Ores and killing Molten Destroyers
• 10 Fiery Cores (drop from Molten Core trash mobs and bosses);
• 10 Lava Cores (drop from Molten Core trash mobs and bosses);
• 8 Sulfuron Ingots from Golemagg the Incinerator.

After having acquired all the required items, you must head to the Black Anvil in Blackrock Depths to craft Sulfuron Hammer. You can find Lord Incendius roaming the area.

Alternatively, you can purchase Sulfuron Hammer on the Auction House.

Now that you have the Sulfuron Hammer, use Eye of Sulfuras to create Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros and enjoy your new transmog!

If you own Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros you can visit a transmogrifier in any major city to use the weapon's appearance for transmog. Certain restrictions apply.

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros can be transmogrified by classes who are able to wield Two-Hand maces, that is Death Knights, Druids, Paladins, Shamans, and Warriors. The character must be of level 60 or above to use the weapon appearance.

Note that there is a better-looking version of the hammer dropping from Ragnaros in Cataclysm's Firelands raid called Sulfuras, the Extinguished Hand.
