The Rate/Improve my deck thread.

Slams aren't that important, and neither is the Loot Hoarder. You can swap in Cruel Taskmasters for easier OTK, more bodies for Battle Rage and more card draw when combined with Acolyte of Pain. Second Rampage is really good for easier OTK as well. 
Your goal isn't to draw all the cards in your deck, but to draw enough to OTK your opponent. 
One Brawl should be more than enough. Include Ravaging Ghoul for more draw from Battle Rage and Acolyte of Pain, while serving as an anti-aggro tool as well.
Harrison Jones can be only a 5 mana 5/4, which is very bad, and even if your opponent has a weapon, it's not really important to destroy it as it doesn't threaten your board. You can leave him in the deck if you face a lot of weapon classes. If not, a Bloodhoof Brave or second Ravaging Ghoul should be better.

Also, a few tips (though it is possible you already know them): don't "waste" your Faceless Manipulator to copy enemy minions - you can use it to copy your own Raging Worgen to OTK. Sometimes it is better not to hero power early on against control decks, as it can disable you from drawing another card from Battle Rage

Thank you for the pointers. Ravaging Ghoul is an interesting option. It's actually better than Loot Hoarder if it helps drawing just one single card through accolyte or battle rage. I agree that the body would help as well. A Shield Slam for a Brawl could be an option as well. Second Ghoul for Harrison , I'm not sure about that. Harrison is extremely good against Doomhammer, and I am facing a lot of Shamans. I'll test out one Ghoul first, and if that does some heavy lifting I'll experiment with a second Ghoul.

4 whirlwinds is exactly where you want to be going into ranked at any time. That's half of the reason Tempo Warrior is the #1 deck to play.

Wouldn't make a call to replace Slam with Taskmaster. Spell does pretty much everything you want it to do, while Taskmaster is a card that's "just ok" on both sides. And "just ok" is not exactly good enough.

Good to know Paracel. Double Ghould would be the way to go then. Cutting the Loot Hoarder seems clear, but would you cut for the second Ghoul assuming I'd like to keep Harrison?

I would argue on tempo warrior being the #1 deck right now, especially as a control warrior player. 
Slam is better in most warrior decks indeed, but the main point of Cruel Taskmaster is the 2 damage (or 4 damage if you hit Raging Worgen). That's why Worgen warriors run Inner Rage - to get more damage and easier OTK.

Started a N'Zoth Paladin deck (http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/581116-nzoth-paladin-standard) and I have just enough dust to craft one legendary. Was thinking of Cairne Bloodhoof since I could put him in other classes' N'Zoth decks, but not sure. Also thinking Ragnaros, Lightlord since if I ever get him with A Light in the Darkness, I always take him. Will just list the few additions I am thinking with the top 3 being what I was most leaning toward:

Also trying to get most value from whatever I craft (i.e. all classes? classic set? use in multiple deck types?) but still have it be an improvement for this deck. Also, could think about crafting more epics/rares (additional doomsayer and lay on hands?) I feel like Ragnaros, Lightlord may be the way to go and remove A Light in the Darkness. I may also remove one or both Keepers to add another Corrupted Healbot and something else. It's all up in the air. I do not play a ton and got to rank 13 this month (which is highest I have gotten) before I started getting a losing record.

@Darkacheron Cairne Bloodhoof if you want to play mainly N'zoth decks, Ragnaros, Lightlord if you face too much aggro or freeze mages, Ragnaros the Firelord if you want to play other control decks, Eadric the Pure is really bad and should not be crafted, Chillmaw if you want to play  mainly dragon decks (not important for N'zoth decks), Justicar Trueheart if you want to play priest or control warrior as well.

hey there guys  , after the last season ended  i decided i want to play some casual games for the sake of fun and decided to make a deck for a class i dont play much ..in this case it was the priest  and went to make a hybrid (c'thun and dragons) i tried it out today and won 3 games out of 3  urmm 1 priest and the same n'zoth rogue twice  lol ..fluke 100% ofc ..i want some opinions on some better cards to fit in since the deck is way clunky but i like the idea that you are always finding synergy or buffing c'thun . here is the deck and i hope by time i can make it run better with your suggestions  :)

@PancakeMonkTwilight Geomancer is pretty much useless, because when you drop C'Thun, there won't be any need for taunt. Add Brann Bronzebeard and Twin Emperor Vek'lor. Midnight Drake is too weak, especially in a proactive deck such as this. Ysera should be better. Drakonid Crusher isn't really important in your deck, as you already have big dragons and don't need more big bodies that much. Include Twilight Elder for bigger C'Thun. Faerie Dragon is too small. Wyrmrest Agent should be better against early aggressive pressure and has one extra stat.
Overall, I think C'Thun/dragon deck is too unreliable as you have low amount of dragons and low amount of C'Thun buffers.
@multicolouredpotatoHi there, you linked the decklist instead of your collection. Do you need help with syncing and sharing your collection?

@Paracel and positiv2: just to let you know I substituted Loot Hoarder and one Slam for two Ravaging Ghouls. It's a definite improvement I feel. Thanks again for your help.

yes the deck is indeed c;unky ..thats why i was assertive that i was a fluke .. i ended up finishing the priest quest with5 wins and 4 losses lol ..and its defiantly not a deck to consider  for laddering it was something i wanted to try and will see the cards you mentioned and try to combine them in the same deck ..thanks man

@multicolouredpotatoYou want to aim for miracoli, and that means you want Gadgetzan Auctioneers, Cold Bloods, Azure Drakes and many more cards. However, what to craft depends on your progression strategy. The main question is: do you want to play multiple decks/classes (which is subjectively more fun and protects you from meta changes), or do you want to grind with Rogue (faster progression, more skill with given deck resulting in higher WR)?

Hi, I need help on further improving my deck. I've currently have this deck attached "CThun Mage". I'm currently on rank 14, and I would like to hear some advices about this deck how to further improve it. I have all BRM cards and could possible invest in other expansio LOE to get some cards from there. Also I have Archmage Anthonidas card but I don't know if it fits here. 

What card would be good in this deck, and how can I further improve it? Or should I switch to some other deck? I'm not sure how strong this deck is, or could be.

Is it worth to switch to that deck instead? I have this two legendaries but I don't have Arcane Blast. Is it worth spending 800 arcane dust to switch to this deck, Also I don't have Ethernal Conjurer.

@freshbmYou don't need a fast start, so you can remove Arcane Missiles and Mana Wyrms. You can remove Sorcerer's Apprentices as you don't need an insane tempo turns, especially when you don't have cards that would allow it. Remove Flamewaker because you don't have enough spells and don't need tempo turns. You can remove Emperor Thaurissan as well because you don't have any combo wombos or curve high enough to make him needed.
This leaves us with 9 cards.
Twin Emperor Vek'lor should be your priority #1. He has insane value for his mana cost. You can include second Flamestrike to deal with aggro decks. Include 2x Disciple of C'Thun. Harrison Jones is a strong card in this meta as well, so he sould be included as well. Cult Sorcerers can be included as well. Include one Doomcaller to make sure you will gte maximum value out of your C'Thun. You can also include Archmage Antonidas to have a back-up win condition.
If you miss any of those cards, you can also include Cabalist's Tomes or C'Thun's Chosens.
Tempo mage is definitely stronger than C'thun mage and I recommend you to switch to it. Crafting Arcane Blasts is a good investment, and you can use Spellslinger until you save enough gold for needed LoE wings.

@positiv2 Thanks man for suggestion. I will try with your changes. I don't have Vek'lor but I have other cards. 
As a matter of fact, on other forums they suggested me to insert Firewaker instead of Disciple of C'Thun, and to change C'Thuns Chosen with Crazed Worshipers.

Thank you on more time, I will stick with this deck until I grind some more dust for ArcaneBlasts.

@freshbmThis deck doesn't have enough spells to make Flamewaker a good addition, let alone to be better than Disciple of C'Thun - a card that not only has no RNG, but also buffs your C'thun, which is bery important in a deck that doesn't have that many C'thun buffs.
C'Thun's Chosens shouldn't be your first choice, but neither should be Crazed Worshippers with their Fen Creeper stats and requirement to invest mana and ping to gain more than +1/+1 in control matchups. It's almost like running Grim Patrons.

Abusive Sergeant isn't needed. You won't have to trade for tempo. Refreshment Vendor heals you and has a solid body (unlike Cult Apothecary), which is what you need.
Flame Juggler is a nice card, but there are better cards out there. Mind Control Tech should help you in zoo/shaman matchups.
Argent Horserider isn't needed as you don't have to put that much pressure on your opponent in the early game. Stampeding Kodo will help you clear the board just like Argent Horserider, but is a bigger body and therefore more useful in control matchups.
I probably wouldn't run Midnight Drake as he has only 4 health. Demonwrath can be included instead. It is a solid board clear, especially when you run Flame Imp and Voidwalker.
Cult Apothecary is useless in control matchups, and too situational in aggro matchups. Use Sylvanas Windrunner instead.
I would swap Arch-Thief Rafaam with Ysera as she is better as an additional win condition. You can keep Arch-Thief Rafaam though if you like him more.
Mountain Giant will probably cost more than you want as you have relatively low curve. Ragnaros the Firelord has higher value with the same body, and is more useful as a late-game power card.

Thanks man...but unfortunately on this account i dont have sylvannas or rag lol.I was thinking maybe a sludge belcher?and also may I know which wing can I get demonwrath in,and if its past the first what can replace it...sunfury maybe?

      Today, we're recapping the four Shaman cards revealed by Gamespot. We also have some dev clarifications on how they work.

      What a way to kick things off; this card looks insane! The dream is that Drakuru takes out two of your opponent’s minions, resurrects them on your side, and survives combat somehow. You’re looking at a 5-for-1 exchange on board.
      In the more likely scenario that it doesn’t survive, that’s still a complete flip of the board state. Even if it’s trading into a single big minion on the opponent’s side, that’s still a 2-for-1, with that 1 on your side being a big tough-to-kill minion. The only worry is that there will sometimes be late-game scenarios where the 6/8 stat line won’t be enough to get you any resurrections, but I’m hopeful those are few and far between.
      Still, even if the Big Shaman archetype doesn’t catch on for Shaman, I expect this card, in particular, to find a home in Renathal Control Shaman lists. This card is doing much of the same work that Sylvanas and Insatiable Devourer are without having to run through the trouble of infusing first.

      Once again, another big expensive card and a solid showy effect to go along with it. Obvious deathrattle/reborn synergy, as well as good with big minions in general. At 10 cost, it will take up your entire mana pool for the turn, though there are things you can do to play around that as a shaman.
      We’ve gotten some clarification from the devs on the mechanics of this one:
      All the copies summoned die at the end of the effect trigger after having attacked. Unfortunately, it won’t be some corruption-style aura effect that a cheeky Showstopper effect can silence off. Your copies are made from your hand from left to right until no more board spaces are available. Beware that Colossals will summon their appendages and take up potential board space from your other copies. Windfury minions will only attack. Sorry Drakuru, no double freebies for you ? Minions that enter Dormant won’t attack, but they won’t die either! The interaction of getting free dormant minion copies on board is interesting, but is there enough to build a deck around? In standard, there is Gangplank, Slimescale, and Pelican Divers, but outside of From De Other Side “synergy,” they might not be worth it. In Wild, at the very least, there is meme potential with getting Magtheridion and The Darkness out with this and getting their battlecries to awaken both copies when you play them out the turn after.
      There’s obvious synergy with the other big cards revealed here, with Prescience loading up your hand with some beefy bois, getting get off reborn, lifesteal and deathrattle value, summon a minion from Overlord Drakuru.

      That’s a lot of keywords for a single card, but they work together to become the stuff of nightmares for any board-based aggro deck. Taunt and lifesteal make this a nightmare to trade into, and even with enough removal to clear the main body and the reborn one, the deathrattle effect still will hit for 3 twice and heal you for 6. So while the 3 attack won’t be anything to write home about, plopping this down will buy you a good deal of time. There’s also the possibility to make use of the leftover reborn 3/1 body to evolve into a 9 or 10 drop.

      This card will get you 2 Mana 2/3 Ghostly Apparitions with the Undead minion type, which can matter for cards like Unliving Champion, or Invincible, for instance. Suppose you trigger the secondary ability here both times. In that case, that’s a pretty sweet deal right there, advancing a Big Shaman win con in 2 ways: The taunt on the Ghostly Apparitions advances your gameplan of stalling the game out until you can stabilize on board enough to play the 5+ Mana minions you’ve tutored out of the deck.
      We’ve theory crafted 3 potential builds that can use this package of Shaman cards.
      First, consider diving head first into the Big Shaman theme, bringing in Vanndar Stormpike and forgoing all other sub-5 cost minions to get max value out of Prescience and From De Other Side. We’re also going to run with the evolve subtheme to take advantage of any leftover bodies that we might get from Stoneborn General, Overlord Drakuru, or Blighblood Berserkers. The departure of the Knights of the Frozen Throne set will make evolving 10 drops better again now that there are no more Snowfury Giants in the Evolve pool, and we get to re-roll for the generally better bodies from the 10 costs. We’re adding in some early-game removal to compensate for the lack of early drops so we can better survive the early game.

      Next, let’s try to use the standard Renathal Control Shaman archetype that’s doing rather well in the meta as a starting point. One safe idea is to look at slotting Overlord Drakuru and potentially Brightblood Berskerker and From De Other Side into this standard XL Renathal Control Shaman as ways of fighting back on board while getting your infuse cards stacked up.

      We could instead also try and drop all the duplicates from the list and convert it into a Reno deck, as the deck was already playing a lot of one-offs. That gives us just enough room for one of each of these bad boys, which together with Reno will up the turnaround potential of the deck at the cost of a little bit of consistency. Doing so we can end up with this list:

      Why not use both and make it a Reno-thal deck? Prescience and Windchill will try to compensate for the loss of card draw from droping one copy of Gorloc Ravager and Famished fool. We are adding in Convincing Disguise to have still enough evolve effects around. The idea of including Bracing Cold and Far Sight is to hopefully discount From De Other Side or the evolve cards so we make use of any leftover bodies in the same turn. Ozumat’s in here not just to get us up to 40 cards, but because it’s a near guaranteed board clear combo with From De Other side, if you manage your hand and board space just right, that leaves you with all its appendages afterward.

      March of the Lich King, set to release on December 6th, is Hearthstone's third expansion in the Year of the Hydra. Blizzard gave us an early sneak peek at some of the Warrior cards revealed today that we discuss in our latest post.
      Today, we'd like to dive into the Warrior cards revealed by Inven Global.

      Pretty straightforward card. The effect gives us much more value the larger the minion is. It gets really scary with the potential follow-up with Bulk Up giving you this massively overstated minion in hand twice. Or If you can get this on Mor’shan Elite, that’s another nice double dip of value.

      Honestly, this feels like it was tailor-made to be the ideal target of Last Stand, as your opponent can’t easily get rid of it with cheap removal. It lets you use your stats immediately by letting you trade in and stabilize with a big taunt. It might not be too shabby on its own, as the 3 effects make it an annoying wall most opponents will be forced to trade into.

      Wow, they’re really not holding back with hand disruption this set. One (nearly) guaranteed discard is pretty impactful and becomes a must-remove card in any control matchup. This card will absolutely crush the hearts of some Big Spell Mages in the coming months, that’s for sure.
      It should be noted that this discard, the devs have confirmed to us that it will trigger your opponent’s “Whenever you discard a card” effects. So try and clear a Discard Warlock's Tiny Knight of Evil and perhaps try to play around having Suffocating Shadows or Soul Barrage trigger in that matchup. 

      To round off the control toolbox from this expansion, we’ve got a pretty unique effect here. Hopefully, this doesn’t end up being too easy to play around for savvy opponents. You could pre-empt this by running out a Blademaster Okani first and baiting out your opponent into playing a small spell first. But still, while the effect will only be as game-changing as your opponent’s last spell, getting any meaningful spell off seems pretty nice.
      Putting it all together, we have put together an interesting Taunt Control Warrior decklist to try out:  AAECAQcMmu0D784EvIoE2fkDqIoEiN8E784E0qwEmu0DlJUEzJIFiKAECcWSBZTtA47tA5+fBImgBIagBJDUBMSSBcuSBQA= . Slotting in Varian seems like a natural addition to any deck with Silverfury Stalwart and Tealan hops along to be the one divine shield minion you might want to have in your control deck. Rokara and Remornia are just good cards and they’ll go a long way to having your Mor’shan Elite’s active. The rest of the deck is the classic Control Warrior shell that will hopefully give you the armor and removal needed to live long enough to throw down your double-stated taunted win conditions.
