Windwalker Monk DPS Gems, Enchants, and Consumables — Midnight Pre-Patch (12.0.1)

Many consumables, like enchants, gems, or potions, are available at multiple different ranks. If you are unable to afford the highest rank for any of them, you can safely choose a lower rank one instead, at the cost of some DPS.

The choice of gems is highly dependent on your gear. Each of the four secondary stats can easily be your highest simming stat depending on the current gear you are wearing, and as a result, the choice of gems and ring enchants can vary a lot. We highly recommend simming yourself to find out the best set of gems for your character specifically via Raidbots.

You should use Culminating Blasphemite in one socket. Alternatively you can play Elusive Blasphemite for a very tiny DPS loss (less than 1%), and gain a sizable amount of movement speed instead. This is recommended. Then, you should ensure you have one gem of each type in other sockets to max out the Crit or Movement Speed effect, ideally Quick Ruby/ Deadly Onyx/ Deadly Sapphire/ Deadly Emerald. Fill in remaining sockets with Quick Ruby, or whichever combination of stats sims highest for you.

Remember that you can use Magnificent Jeweler's Setting to add up to 2 socket slots to your rings and amulet.

When Leveling up from 80-90 in the Midnight Expansion, there are a lot of consumables that can help ease the process, aside from the "regular" PvE consumables mentioned further below.

• Gunshoes — Massive movement speed boost that works when Mounts do not, and much faster than ground mounts.
• Goblin Glider Kit — Lets you glide off of ledges and cover vast distances quickly.
• Fried Bonefish — Gives you a speed buff when you kill enemies.
• Light-Step Hoofplates — Do not forget this Mount Equipment to make your mounts faster on the ground.

Flask of Alchemical Chaos.

For all situations use Tempered Potion.

Invigorating Healing Potion should be used to heal yourself.

You should eat the Agility Feasts Feast of the Midnight Masquerade.

While expensive, Crystallized Augment Runes can also be used for a small amount of extra Agility. Consider keeping a few on hand for times when you need to eke out every bit of possible damage.

For all situations, use Algari Mana Oil.

Due to the Stamina scaling of Touch of Death and Touch of Karma, Stormbound Armor Kit does provide a small DPS boost when added to your Legs.
