Talent Cheatsheet
Abyssal Commander Sivara
We advise you to use the following essences against Abyssal Commander Sivara.
- Major Slot
- The Crucible of Flame — Rank 3: Concentrated Flame + Ancient Flame
- Minor Slots
- Nullification Dynamo — Rank 3: Null Barrier
- Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood
Tips
When your Rimefrost or Septic Taint is about to expire, you should move to the edge of the room and away from other players to drop a pool. Use Transcendence: Transfer to get back in - this is especially important on Heroic Mode, as excessive movement with the Poison Brand will harm you.
Some groups may have you soak Crushing Reverberation alone. This is not an issue for Brewmasters at all, as Stagger reduces the immediate damage massively.
For more information, please refer to our Abyssal Commander Sivara strategy guide.
Blackwater Behemoth
We advise you to use the following essences against Blackwater Behemoth.
- Major Slot
- The Crucible of Flame — Rank 3: Concentrated Flame + Ancient Flame
- Minor Slots
- Nullification Dynamo — Rank 3: Null Barrier
- Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood
Tips
Swap the boss when the other tank's Radiant Biomass debuff falls off, as this debuff causes you to be healable.
Use your Transcendence: Transfer to get back to the boss after it casts Shock Pulse.
For more information, please refer to our Blackwater Behemoth strategy guide.
Radiance of Azshara
We advise you to use the following essences against Radiance of Azshara.
- Major Slot
- The Crucible of Flame — Rank 3: Concentrated Flame + Ancient Flame
- Minor Slots
- Nullification Dynamo — Rank 3: Null Barrier
- Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood
Tips
Swap after every Tide Fist.
If you do not prefer to use Summon Black Ox Statue, you can use Ring of Peace to interrupt Stormling adds in a pinch.
For more information, please refer to our Radiance of Azshara strategy guide.
Lady Ashvane
We advise you to use the following essences against Lady Ashvane.
- Major Slot
- The Crucible of Flame — Rank 3: Concentrated Flame + Ancient Flame
- Minor Slots
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
- Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood
Tips
Stick to the edge of the boss arena, staying away from any Coral Growths, as these spawn bubbles that will replenish the bosses shield. Kite her around the arena slowly - when you are Barnacle Bashed, a pool of Cutting Coral will form. You should swap after each bash.
For more information, please refer to our Lady Ashvane strategy guide.
Orgozoa
We advise you to use the following essences against Orgozoa.
- Major Slot
- Sphere of Suppression — Rank 3: Suppressing Pulse + Sphere of Suppression
- Minor Slots
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
- Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood
Tips
Tanks have an important job on this fight. The boss' melee swings apply Desensitizing Sting, reducing the damage you take by 10% for each stack. Adds spawn throughout the encounter, and when they die, they leave behind Amniotic Splatter, a pool which must be soaked but deals very high damage.
By swapping as soon as each set of adds spawns, the soaking tank will have enough stacks to take all 3 pools. If you are too slow to kill the adds and your debuff runs out, you can use Dampen Harm, Zen Meditation, and healer externals to soak them.
In Phase 2, the Dreadcoil Hulk add will have a stomp you must soak. You can share the damage of this, but should be able to take it alone with 4+ stacks.
For more information, please refer to our Orgozoa strategy guide.
The Queen's Court
We advise you to use the following essences against The Queen's Court.
- Major Slot
- The Crucible of Flame — Rank 3: Concentrated Flame + Ancient Flame
- Minor Slots
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
- Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood
Tips
Swap when the Pashmar tank's Pashmar's Touch stacks fall off. Do your first swap whenever convenient, probably around 5 stacks or so.
Use heavy cooldowns if you are tanking Pashmar when Zealous Eruption is cast. You should also use healer externals during the Obey or Suffer decree, as you will be unhealable 50% of the time.
For more information, please refer to our The Queen's Court strategy guide.
Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha
We advise you to use the following essences against Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha.
- Major Slot
- The Crucible of Flame — Rank 3: Concentrated Flame + Ancient Flame
- Minor Slots
- Nullification Dynamo — Rank 3: Null Barrier
- Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood
Tips
One tank takes damage from the boss during this fight, and the other takes 50% of the damage the boss tank takes. You must remain within 12 yards of each other and be the closest players to each other at the start of each phase. It is likely that Brewmaster will be the preferred tank for boss tanking.
For more information, please refer to our Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha strategy guide.
Queen Azshara
We advise you to use the following essences against Queen Azshara.
- Major Slot
- The Crucible of Flame — Rank 3: Concentrated Flame + Ancient Flame
- Minor Slots
- Nullification Dynamo — Rank 3: Null Barrier
- Worldvein Resonance — Rank 3: Lifeblood
Tips
In the first phase, each tank takes one of Aethanel and Cyranus. They will occasionally cast Painful Memories and Longing. When Painful Memories is cast, move the bosses out of line of sight of each other. Similarly, move them so they can see each other after Longing. Failing to do so will grant Torment, increasing their damage greatly. You will have to kite the bosses slowly during Longing, as Cursed Heart pools spawn underneath each boss. For this reason and because you will want to cleave the bosses, it may be better to stack the bosses during Longing. Additionally, swap when you reach 3 stacks of Cold Blast.
Phase Two has Queen Azshara enter the arena and become tankable. The Ancient Ward nearest her will be drained of energy, so pay attention and move if you must. An Ancient Ward reaching 0 energy will end the encounter. Alternatively, being nearest the Ward of Power will charge it, making the fight more difficult. Avoid this.
She will apply a stacking Arcane Vulnerability debuff, which you simply swap on occasionally. She should be positioned so players can easily leave line of sight when they need to.
Ring of Peace is useful to stop adds when they march towards the Rude of Power.
In Phase 3, a Loyal Myrmidon is spawned. Swap between the add and the boss as you would before. The Myrmidon should be tanked with a Tidemistress between it and the raid, as it casts Charged Spear, which is used to kill the Tidemistresses.
The last Phase only adds a healing debuff for the tanks to swap on.
