This page will cover everything you need to know about the Collegiate Calamity Delve in the Midnight Expansion, including strategies for events, trash, and bosses.
Getting into Collegiate Calamity
MISSING is a Delve located on the North West side of Silvermoon City, Eversong Woods.
This guide will provide all the specifics you need to complete the MISSING delve across all tiers of difficulties (from Tier 1 to Tier 11). We will cover delve events, optional bosses (rares), as well as end of the dungeon boss and their abilities. If you would like to learn about the rest of the Delves in Midnight, please see our overviews linked below.

Storylines and Trash Mobs in Collegiate Calamity
Event #1: Academy Under Siege
In this event, we must help the Thalassian University defend against a sudden void invasion, closing portals and defeating members of Xal'atath's Devouring Host in the process.
Event #2: Faculty of Fear
In this event, you must use the
Eye of Revelation to reveal Twilight's Blade members
disguising themselves as students. Suspicious students are highlighted in yellow and can be
seen through walls.
Event #3: Invasive Glow
In this event, Lightbloom creatures are invading the Thalassian University. For this event, you're provided with a MISSING, which can be used to instantly kill smaller Lightbloom mobs and deal damage to bigger ones.
After reaching the main level of the Thalassian University, you must use the Grimgrow Deweeder to destroy Luminibulb patches scattered across the delve.
Hydrangea Guide
MISSING is the final boss of the Invasive Glow event in Collegiate Calamity and has only two abilities of note. Here's how you defeat it more easily:
- MISSING spawns roots that immobilize you. These have fairly low health and can be killed.
- MISSING spawns light zones that deal moderate damage. Easy to dodge unless you're still rooted by Wildroot Weave, so make sure you're freed from the roots before this ability starts.
Infiltrator Garand Boss Guide
Infiltrator Garand is the final boss of the Faculty of Fear event in Collegiate Calamity and one of the easier Delve bosses in Midnight, with only two abilities to watch out for:
Shadow Laceration cannot be interrupted and leaves a DOT effect. You can dodge it by
leaving Garand's melee range, or simply popping a defensive if hit with it.
Twilight Crash has Garand jump to your location after a few seconds. If in a group, stay
spread out so Garand only hits one target. If alone, stay away from Valeera and pop a defensive if
he jumps on you.
Voidscorned Vagrant Boss Guide
MISSING is the final boss of the Academy Under Siege event in Collegiate Calamity and a pretty straightforward boss. Here's its abilities to watch out for:
- MISSING leaves void zones on the floor and you can simply sidestep to dodge them.
- MISSING is a long cast time that deals damage and fears everyone. This cast can and should be interrupted at all times.
