1.

Getting into the Gulf of Memory

Gulf of Memory is a Delve located on the West side of Harandar, between the Den of Echoes and Har'alnor.

This guide will provide all the specifics you need to complete the Gulf of Memory Delve across all tiers of difficulty (from Tier 1 to Tier 11). We will cover Delve events, optional bosses (rares), as well as end of the dungeon bosses and their abilities. If you would like to learn about the rest of the Delves in Midnight, please see our overviews linked below.

Events and Trash Mobs in the Gulf of Memory

3.1.

Event #1: Alnmoth Munchies

In this event, you use moths to help contain the spread of Lightbloom in the Delve via Alnmoth Storm Icon Alnmoth Storm. You can use the extra-action ability to both devour Lightbloom bushes or help defeat the Rutaani enemies which are invading throughout the Delve.

You can move and cast abilities while channeling Alnmoth Storm.

3.2.

Event #2: Descent of the Haranir

In this event, you go down memory learn as we're taught of the Haranir's descent to Harandar, following the Song of Azeroth.

We must light up giant candles and deal with Kobolds as we look for unusual treasures. Staying outside of lit candle areas increases damage taken, so avoid dark areas if possible.

This Delve event variant is the one players experience throughout the Midnight leveling experience, as part of the Harandar questline.

3.3.

Event #3: Sporasaur Special

In this event, the Lightbloom Rutaani are unleashing a special variant of Sporasaur creatures - Bigger and exploding into frenzied growth. You're sent to defeat these Sporasaurs to ensure the Rutaani can't use them against the Haranir.

The Lightbloom Sporasaur have an innate damage reduction shield. This shield is removed by chucking the Sporbits spawned by the Sporasaur against them. These are indicated by a green reticle on the ground and explode if not kicked quickly enough.

Lumenia Delve Boss Guide

Lumenia is the boss of the Alnmoth Munchies and Sporasaur Special events in the Gulf of Memory. She is a pretty easy boss, and here is what you have to do to defeat her quickly:

  • Radiant Command Icon Radiant Command summons an add that fixates on you, exploding if they reach you. Focus damage on the add; they move pretty slowly.
  • Searing Light Icon Searing Light spawns patches of light zones that disorient you if you stand in them. You can use these patches to help kill Radiant Command adds if they're still alive, dodge them otherwise.
  • Malignant Gleam Icon Malignant Gleam deals holy damage and can simply be mitigated by cooldowns.

Mul'tha'ul Delve Boss Guide

Mul'tha'ul is the boss of the Descend of thr Haranir event in the Gulf of Memory. He is one of the tougher Midnight Delve bosses, and here's what you need to do to defeat him:

  • Hopeless Curse Icon Hopeless Curse is a pretty nasty Curse that deals Shadow damage, reduces Haste and Movement Speed. You can either interrupt this cast, decurse it off, or if you don't have easy access to either, set Valeera to her Healing specialization to have her dispell it regularly.
  • Tear It Down Icon Tear It Down spawns a tentacle which will try to slam any players close to them. Kite Mul'tha'ul away from any spawned tentacles.
  • Unanswered Call Icon Unanswered Call increases Mul'tha'ul's damage drastically, but also slows him down to a crawl. Stay away from him while he channels the ability.
