This page will cover everything you need to know about The Darkway Delve in the Midnight Expansion, including strategies for events, trash, and bosses.

1.

Getting into The Darkway

The Darkway is a Delve located on the Northern side of Silvermoon City, Eversong Woods.

This guide will provide all the specifics you need to complete the Darkway Delve across all tiers of difficulty (from Tier 1 to Tier 11). We will cover Delve events, optional bosses (rares), as well as the Delve boss and their abilities. If you would like to learn about the rest of the Delves in Midnight, please see our overviews linked below.

Events and Trash Mobs in The Darkway

3.1.

Event #1: Focusers Under Pressure

In this event the Twilight's Blade has invaded the Arcway to sabotage the Ley Lines that nourish the Shal'dorei people. To do this, you must traverse the Delve in search of Ley Line focusers and bring them back to the center of the Delve.

3.2.

Event #2: Leyline Technician

In this event you must traverse the Arcway and realign Ley Line conduits, much like you had to do during the Suramar storyline in the Legion expansion. This time, tapping a Ley Line conduit only once per leyline crossed is enough - No mini-games required!

You will need to use the Ley Line conduits to empower three focus crystals in the Arcway, while killing members of the Twilight's Blade in the process.

3.3.

Event #3: Ogre Powered

This is a pretty straightforward event. Once you reach the middle portion of the Arcway to confront Infiltrator Gulkat, you must kill 7 Unstable Aberration. They're pretty simple enemies, but make sure to interrupt their Arcane Deluge casts.

3.4.

Event #4: Eggsplosive Growth

In this event we deal with the Children of Ula'tek, who have invaded the Arcway and began nesting within its tunnels. Eggs can be destroyed without interacting with them by clicking on the Venom-Clogged Leyline pylons.

Infiltrator Gulkat Delve Boss Guide

Infiltrator Gulkat is the final boss of the Focusers Under Pressure, Leyline Technicial, and Ogre Powered event variants in The Darkway, and is a pretty straightforward fight; here is what you have to do to defeat him more easily:

  • Make sure to interrupt Twilight Seekers Icon Twilight Seekers.
  • Abyssal Burst Icon Abyssal Burst deals damage in a cone in front of Gulkat - Dodge it.
  • The illusions summoned by Illusory Deceit Icon Illusory Deceit explode after a few seconds, keep your distance while dealing with Gulkat's abilities.
5.

Replicating Venomborne Delve Boss Guide

Replicating Venomborne is the final boss of the Eggsplosive Growth event of the Darkway. This boss can become a bit tricky if not dealt with correctly:

  • Venom Splash Icon Venom Splash leaves a pool of poison behind that deals significant AOE damage and slows movement speed, easily dodgeable.
  • Hydra Strike Icon Hydra Strike deals Nature damage and leaves a DOT. Valeera can heal through this, but be careful as this effect does stack.
  • Serpentogenesis Icon Serpentogenesis is the Venomborne's most dangerous ability, where he spawns a bunch of Lesser Venomborne that attack you. The adds are not very dangerous on their own, but if left alive by the time the Venomborne casts another Serpentogenesis, they will heal the Venomborne for a percentage of his maximum health. Nuke them as they spawn and this is a non issue.
