Shadowguard Point Delve Guide: Location, Boss Strategies, and Trash

Last Updated: Aug 3, 2026 - 5:14 PM (15d ago)

This page will cover everything you need to know about the Shadowguard Point Delve in the Midnight Expansion, including strategies for events, trash, and bosses.

1.

Getting into Shadowguard Point

Shadowguard Point is a Delve located on the West side of Voidstorm, just north of the Abundant Voidburrow.

This guide will provide all the specifics you need to complete the Shadowguard Point Delve across all tiers of difficulties (from Tier 1 to Tier 11). We will cover Delve events, optional bosses (rares), as well as end of the dungeon boss and their abilities. If you would like to learn about the rest of the Delves in Midnight, please see our overviews linked below.

Events and Trash Mobs in Shadowguard Point

3.1.

Event #1: Calamitous

In this event, you invade Shadowguard Point to disrupt experiments conducted by the Shadowguard Ethereals. We do this by overloading Void Stabilizers while killing as many ethereals as we come across.

Void Stabilizers are overloaded by picking up Arcane Charges throughout the Delve. Carrying those will increase your movement speed, and overloading Void Stabilizers triggers explosions. These can be used to kill mobs, but be careful to not be caught in them!

3.2.

Event #2: Captured Wildlife

In this event, you learn that the Shadowguard Ethereals are capturing local Voidstorm wildlife, and we show them how dangerous these void-mutated creatures can be by freeing them from their prisons.

The freed creatures will not directly attack you, but their AOE attacks can hurt you if you're too close.

3.3.

Event #3: Stolen Mana

In this event, you use a "borrowed rifle" to destabilize mana containers that the Shadowguard is filling up with magic from friends and foes alike. This is a pretty straightforward single-objective event, with the final boss opening up after overloading enough containers.

3.4.

Event #4: Basilisk Blitz

In this event, we actually help the Shadowguard Ethereal, who have lost control of the Delve due to Ula'tek specimens breaking free of their cages and taking over the peninsula. We help them retake the peninsula by diverting shields and killing basilisks channeling energy to the delve's boss.

The basilisks will constantly throw poison bolts when approached, if their barrier is still holding. Approaching an active barrier is not deadly, but will stun you for a few seconds.

Chief-Arcanist Patram Delve Boss Guide

Chief-Arcanist Patram is the boss of the Calamitous, Captured Wildlife and Stolen Mana event variants of Shadowguard Point. This is one of the easier Midnight Delve bosses, with abilities reminiscent of past Mythic+ seasons. Here's how you defeat him:

  • Void Bolt casts should be interrupted.
  • Dark Communion Icon Dark Communion will invoke a Void Emissary, which must be killed before Patram finishes channeling his follow-up ability, Submit to the Void Icon Submit to the Void. If you kill the Void Emissary before the cast ends, you'll receive a Versatility and Cooldown Reduction buff. Otherwise, Patram gets the buff.
  • Discordant Hymn Icon Discordant Hymn spawns void zones that deal damage and slow you. These should be sidestepped and avoided.
5.

Disciple of Vash'nik Delve Boss Guide

Disciple of Vashnik is the boss of the Basilisk Blitz event variant of Shadowguard Point. The disciple is not too bad of a boss with only three abilities to watch out for:

  • Toxic Froth Icon Toxic Froth leaves a Poison DOT on you for a few seconds. This is easily healed through.
  • Living Venom Icon Living Venom is a channel that invokes an AOE around the Disciple that must be side-stepped from. At the end of the cast, the Disciple spawns a slime add that can be cleaved down and doesn't do much on its own.
  • Malignance Icon Malignance is an interruptible cast that causes stacking Nature damage and reduces movement speed. This is the Disciple's most dangerous ability and must be interrupted whenever possible.
