Keep in mind that the Essence recommendations are for the standard Mistweaving playstyle. If you are using the Haste Build, then you will want to swap The Ever-Rising Tide into the Major slot, and Memory of Lucid Dreams into a Minor slot.

Tips
Mistweaver has more mobility than it needs for this fight, so look for opportunities to give Tiger's Lust to any raid member who might be lagging behind during the intermissions. During the 2nd phase, if there is no healing to be done, try to apply your Mystic Touch to as many pillars as possible using Spinning Crane Kick.
For Mythic difficulty, you will want to proactively use Tiger's Lust to clear the slow from people who need it.

Tips
Have your peak amount of Renewing Mist ready for the add explosion. When the boss transitions into the second phase, make sure to attack the closest target to maintain uptime on Rising Mist while your tanks determine which illusion is the correct one.

Tips
Tiger's Lust any slow members of the raid to help them get in position for their "soccer" kicks. You can also keep your Transcendence on the opposite side of Azshara, in case you need to quickly reposition.

Tips
Apply Mystic Touch to all the adds if you are the only Monk in the raid. You should also be looking to use Paralysis on the Darters every time the cooldown is available, in order to interrupt their casts.
If one of your Tanks misses a kick, you can use Revival to mass dispel the poison off the entire raid. You should not be holding Revival specifically for that mistake, however it is an option if the need arises.

Tips
You can place your Transcendence outside of the boss arena, across the moat, if you need to quickly get out of a bad Umbral Eruption placement.
For Mythic, if a Tasty Morsel needs to be picked up, use Tiger's Lust to assist any players who might have forgotten to feed the boss.

Tips
Keeping a Transcendence in the center of the room allows you to quickly reposition in almost any circumstance.
When healing inside the Tentacle's obscuring cloud, be sure to stand at the maximum melee range. This will allow you to quickly dip in and out to dispel people in need, or help with critical healing.

Tips
When Despair is applied to the active tank, make sure they are at full Health by the end of the debuff. You can achieve this by applying Life Cocoon about half way through the duration, allowing them to be topped off, or by leveraging Enveloping Mist's healing bonus and spamming them. It may even be advisable for yourself and one other healer to run Vitality Conduit as a Major. The short cooldown and powerful burst healing allows your tank to be covered for each Despair cast.

Make sure you have a high number of Renewing Mist out on the raid for when an Orb is about to collide with the boss.
On Mythic, be sure to track who has Corrupted Existence to avoid healing them to full.

Tips
Place your Transcendence on the opposite side of the boss, so you can quickly teleport across in the event that a Corruptor's Gaze fixates on you.
During the mind controls, be extremely careful using Ring of Peace to move the players afflicted. Often, you can end up bouncing that person into a player who was not mind controlled.

As always, make sure you are applying Mystic Touch to all the adds if you are the only Monk who is going to be hitting them.

Tips
During the Psychus phase, place your Transcendence on your body, in order to be able to quickly teleport there at the end of the phase. Conversely, if your tank will be pulling Psychus such that he dies when your group is near their bodies again, then place your Transcendence near N'zoth, where your group will stack.
On Mythic, it can be a good idea to run one Uplifted Spirits trait with Vision of Perfection as a Minor. This allows you to hit specific 2-minute Revival windows during the damage spikes in Phase 1 and 2.
