This page is meant to be a rough outline of what to do on each fight as a Mistweaver specifically. It is advisable to familiarize yourself with the mechanics and strategy of each encounter on our Nyalotha Raid Guide section.

Keep in mind that the Essence recommendations are for the standard Mistweaving playstyle. If you are using the Haste Build, then you will want to swap The Ever-Rising Tide Icon The Ever-Rising Tide into the Major slot, and Memory of Lucid Dreams Icon Memory of Lucid Dreams into a Minor slot.

Tips

Mistweaver has more mobility than it needs for this fight, so look for opportunities to give Tiger's Lust Icon Tiger's Lust to any raid member who might be lagging behind during the intermissions. During the 2nd phase, if there is no healing to be done, try to apply your Mystic Touch Icon Mystic Touch to as many pillars as possible using Spinning Crane Kick Icon Spinning Crane Kick.

For Mythic difficulty, you will want to proactively use Tiger's Lust Icon Tiger's Lust to clear the slow from people who need it.

Tips

During the second phase of this fight, you will gain large amounts of Mana, so feel free to spend it liberally.

Tips

Have your peak amount of Renewing Mist Icon Renewing Mist ready for the add explosion. When the boss transitions into the second phase, make sure to attack the closest target to maintain uptime on Rising Mist Icon Rising Mist while your tanks determine which illusion is the correct one.

6.1.

Tips

Tiger's Lust Icon Tiger's Lust any slow members of the raid to help them get in position for their "soccer" kicks. You can also keep your Transcendence Icon Transcendence on the opposite side of Azshara, in case you need to quickly reposition.

The Hivemind

7.1.

Tips

Apply Mystic Touch Icon Mystic Touch to all the adds if you are the only Monk in the raid. You should also be looking to use Paralysis Icon Paralysis on the Darters every time the cooldown is available, in order to interrupt their casts.

If one of your Tanks misses a kick, you can use Revival Icon Revival to mass dispel the poison off the entire raid. You should not be holding Revival specifically for that mistake, however it is an option if the need arises.

Shad'har the Insatiable

Tips

You can place your Transcendence Icon Transcendence outside of the boss arena, across the moat, if you need to quickly get out of a bad Umbral Eruption placement.

For Mythic, if a Tasty Morsel needs to be picked up, use Tiger's Lust Icon Tiger's Lust to assist any players who might have forgotten to feed the boss.

Drest'agath

We advise you to use the following talents against Drest'agath.

9.1.

Tips

Keeping a Transcendence Icon Transcendence in the center of the room allows you to quickly reposition in almost any circumstance.

When healing inside the Tentacle's obscuring cloud, be sure to stand at the maximum melee range. This will allow you to quickly dip in and out to dispel people in need, or help with critical healing.

Vexiona

We advise you to use the following talents against Vexiona.

10.1.

Tips

When Despair is applied to the active tank, make sure they are at full Health by the end of the debuff. You can achieve this by applying Life Cocoon Icon Life Cocoon about half way through the duration, allowing them to be topped off, or by leveraging Enveloping Mist Icon Enveloping Mist's healing bonus and spamming them. It may even be advisable for yourself and one other healer to run Vitality Conduit Icon Vitality Conduit as a Major. The short cooldown and powerful burst healing allows your tank to be covered for each Despair cast.

Ra-den the Despoiled

Tips

Make sure you have a high number of Renewing Mist Icon Renewing Mist out on the raid for when an Orb is about to collide with the boss.

On Mythic, be sure to track who has Corrupted Existence to avoid healing them to full.

12.1.

Tips

Place your Transcendence Icon Transcendence on the opposite side of the boss, so you can quickly teleport across in the event that a Corruptor's Gaze fixates on you.

During the mind controls, be extremely careful using Ring of Peace Icon Ring of Peace to move the players afflicted. Often, you can end up bouncing that person into a player who was not mind controlled.

Tips

As always, make sure you are applying Mystic Touch Icon Mystic Touch to all the adds if you are the only Monk who is going to be hitting them.

During transitions, help out the members of your raid who are lagging behind by casting Tiger's Lust Icon Tiger's Lust on them.

N'Zoth the Corruptor

Tips

During the Psychus phase, place your Transcendence Icon Transcendence on your body, in order to be able to quickly teleport there at the end of the phase. Conversely, if your tank will be pulling Psychus such that he dies when your group is near their bodies again, then place your Transcendence near N'zoth, where your group will stack.

On Mythic, it can be a good idea to run one Uplifted Spirits Icon Uplifted Spirits trait with Vision of Perfection Icon Vision of Perfection as a Minor. This allows you to hit specific 2-minute Revival windows during the damage spikes in Phase 1 and 2.
