Talent and Essence Cheatsheet
Abyssal Commander Sivara
We advise you to use the following essences against Abyssal Commander Sivara.
- Major Slot
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Conflict + Strife
- Minor Slots
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
- The Ever-Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
Tips
Try your best to drop your stacks of Frost Mark or Toxic Brand at 4-5 stacks by running into a pool of the opposite element.
Be ready to use Life Cocoon on targets with low Health that need to soak Overflow.
Mythic difficulty — in this difficulty, your raid will be taking unavoidable stacks, so raid damage will be higher in general. Keep an eye out for when multiple people are clearing their stacks, and react quickly.
For more information, please refer to our Abyssal Commander Sivara strategy guide.
Blackwater Behemoth
We advise you to use the following essences against Blackwater Behemoth.
- Major Slot
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Conflict + Strife
- Minor Slots
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
- The Ever-Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
Tips
Make good use of your Transcendence to get back to the boss quickly after needing to refresh your Bioluminescence. Chi Torpedo is also an excellent choice for this fight, as the extra distance it adds to your roll can get you in and out more quickly.
Darkest Depths only reduces healing done by 100%, not absorbs. This means that Life Cocoon can be incredibly useful in saving someone who is unable to be healed.
Mythic difficulty — if targeted by Piercing Barb, you can easily solo soak this ability by using Diffuse Magic, Fortifying Brew, and Life Cocoon. Depending on the number of Secret Infusion traits you have, you might be able to replace Life Cocoon with the damage reduction you would get from a Versatility proc.
For more information, please refer to our Blackwater Behemoth strategy guide.
Radiance of Azshara
We advise you to use the following essences against Radiance of Azshara.
- Major Slot
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Conflict + Strife
- Minor Slots
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
- The Ever-Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
Tips
Dispel targets with Arcane Bomb once they are away from other players. Place your Transcendence where your group is going to stack in the first phase, so you are able to quickly get back into position after the storm phase.
Alternatively, you can use Transcendence to avoid Gale Buffet in the second phase.
Mythic difficulty — there is no significant difference to this fight on Mythic difficulty.
For more information, please refer to our Radiance of Azshara strategy guide.
Lady Ashvane
We advise you to use the following essences against Lady Ashvane.
- Major Slot
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Conflict + Strife
- Minor Slots
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
- The Well of Existence — Rank 3: The Well of Existence
Tips
Be prepared to use your cooldowns appropriately when your group starts to soak Rippling Waves. It is advisable to play Way of the Crane on this fight to help meet the DPS and HPS checks.
Remember to apply Mystic Touch to players trapped inside Briny Bubbles.
During the second phase, be ready to use your mobility to break the coral patches, if you are targeted by Arcing Azerite.
Mythic difficulty — the only notable difference for us on this fight is the DPS and HPS checks, which are much higher. If your group is running a 3-healer strategy, then you might want to consider swapping to a Memory of Lucid Dreams major, and The Ever-Rising Tide minor. This will severely limit your DPS, but it provides the throughput and longevity required to keep the group alive.
For more information, please refer to our Lady Ashvane strategy guide.
Orgozoa
We advise you to use the following essences against Orgozoa.
- Major Slot
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Conflict + Strife
- Minor Slots
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
- The Ever-Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
Tips
This fight is very straight-forward for Mistweavers. There is not much we can specifically do to counter mechanics. Just be ready for damage on the raid to ramp up as more and more people are afflicted with Incubation Fluid. If you yourself are afflicted with Incubation Fluid, be sure to spread out before Arcing Current.
The one special thing we can do, is during the phase transition, we can use Chi Torpedo to skip the ramp section by jumping off the side. Just be sure to wait for any passing squid NPCs to clear your path, as colliding with one will be fatal.
Mythic difficulty — raid damage will be much higher on this difficulty, ramping up to very intense levels near Orgozoa's phase transition. You can run either a Conflict and Strife or Memory of Lucid Dreams major; both have their merits. Conflict and Strife will be less HPS generally, but can help push your group out of the first phase more quickly, netting an effective HPS boost. However, if people are dying before the phase transition, then the extra healing and sustainability provided by Lucid Dreams might be what your group needs.
For more information, please refer to our Orgozoa strategy guide.
The Queen's Court
We advise you to use the following essences against The Queen's Court.
- Major Slot
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Conflict + Strife
- Minor Slots
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
- The Ever-Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
Tips
What to do for the Decrees:
- Aim to use your mobility to the fullest in order to soak both Form Ranks and Frenetic Charge.
- You can weave in damaging abilities during Repeat Performance in order to dodge the silence, however it is easy enough even just casting normally to avoid casting the same ability twice.
- Spread out for Stand Alone!.
- Move periodically during Deferred Sentence, just make sure your stacks stay low.
- For Obey or Suffer, all you can do is apply Life Cocoon if someone is about to die.
Otherwise, just make sure you stack on Silivaz for Zealous Eruption and get away from Pashmar during Violent Outburst.
Mythic difficulty — very little changes for us on Mythic. Just be sure to move away from the appropriate flags to avoid taking damage from their Sphere of Influence.
For more information, please refer to our The Queen's Court strategy guide.
Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha
We advise you to use the following essences against Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha.
- Major Slot
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Conflict + Strife
- Minor Slots
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
- The Ever-Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
Tips
Use Revival after at least one dispel of Dread to ensure the healing actually goes through.
Healing will ramp up drastically during the second phase, so keep some Mana available to deal with it. Once you swap into the last phase, ideally the entire raid will drop into the Delirium realm while you stay with the Tanks.
When the boss shields himself with Dark Pulse, deal as much damage as you can while keeping the tanks alive.
Mythic difficulty — on this difficulty instead of casting Dark Pulse, the boss will cast Psychotic Split, spawning an add that needs to be killed instead. Do as much damage as you can while keeping your raid healthy.
For more information, please refer to our Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha strategy guide.
Queen Azshara
We advise you to use the following essences against Queen Azshara.
- Major Slot
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Conflict + Strife
- Minor Slots
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Lucid Dreams
- The Ever-Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
Tips
During the first phase, focus on tank healing, as raid healing is relatively low. If targeted by Charged Spear, ensure that the trajectory of the spear exits the encounter zone and does not collide with any Titan machinery.
For Phase 2, look for opportunities to use Ring of Peace and Leg Sweep to keep Azshara's Devoted from reaching a corrupted Ancient Ward. Make sure to place your Transcendence out of line of sight of where your tanks will be keeping Azshara. This will allow you to quickly and easily dodge Arcane Detonation. Make sure to only dispel Arcane Burst when the afflicted players are out of line of sight of Azshara, or she will cast additional Arcane Bursts.
In Phase 3, if targeted by Charged Spear, look to have it strike a Tidemistress with an active Crystalline Shield. Otherwise, aim it out into the ocean, as in the first phase.
