1. General Optimization Advice

Netherlight Crucible

Optimizing through the Netherlight Crucible is straightforward; you are offered 2 initial paths, Shadow and Holy, and you should determine your path contingent on the following suggestions.

When deciding which path to take, compare the sum of the item level values of the Tier 2 traits and the relics (listed in the section below) to determine which the optimal path is.

This tool can help you get a more tailored answer as to which path to follow.

2. Tier 2 Upgrade Priority

2.1. Single Target

  1. Torment the Weak Icon Torment the Weak, Secure in the Light Icon Secure in the Light, Infusion of Light Icon Infusion of Light, Shadowbind Icon Shadowbind, Shocklight Icon Shocklight, Master of Shadows Icon Master of Shadows, and Murderous Intent Icon Murderous Intent (+3 item levels);
  2. Light Speed Icon Light Speed and Chaotic Darkness Icon Chaotic Darkness (+2.5 item levels);
  3. Dark Sorrows Icon Dark Sorrows (+1 item levels).

2.2. Multiple Target

  1. Master of Shadows Icon Master of Shadows (+3.5 item levels);
  2. Murderous Intent Icon Murderous Intent (+3 item levels);
  3. Shocklight Icon Shocklight and Light Speed Icon Light Speed (+~2.7 item levels);
  4. Dark Sorrows Icon Dark Sorrows (+2 item levels).
  5. Torment the Weak Icon Torment the Weak, Secure in the Light Icon Secure in the Light, Infusion of Light Icon Infusion of Light, Shadowbind Icon Shadowbind, and Chaotic Darkness Icon Chaotic Darkness (+1.5 item levels).

3. Tier 3 Upgrade Priority

The Tier 3 upgrades are identical to the relic priority found in our Artifact Traits and Relics page, however, they have been relisted here for your convenience.

3.1. Single Target

  1.  Icon Scythe of the Stars (4)
  2.  Icon Dark Side of the Moon and  Icon Solar Stabbing (2)
  3.  Icon Falling Star (only if using Oneth's Intuition Icon Oneth's Intuition),  Icon Twilight Glow,  Icon Sunfire Burns, and  Icon Empowerment (1)
  4. Light of the Evening Star Icon Light of the Evening Star (0.5, only if using Oneth's Intuition Icon Oneth's Intuition)

3.2. Multiple Target

  1.  Icon Falling Star (6)
  2.  Icon Twilight Glow (4)
  3.  Icon Sunfire Burns (3)
  4. Light of the Evening Star Icon Light of the Evening Star (2)
  5.  Icon Dark Side of the Moon (1)
