General Information

On this page, we present you with the best gems and enchants for a Balance Druid in World of Warcraft Legion 7.3.5. We also list the best consumables (food, flasks, and potions) and profession-specific perks.

The other pages of our Balance Druid guide can be accessed from the table of contents on the right.

About Our Reviewer

This guide has been reviewed and approved by Bora, an up-and-coming Balance Druid theorycrafter who is active on the Druid Discord.

1. Secondary Stat Choice

Mastery and Haste are close in value to you as a Balance Druid, so it is recommended to Sim your character to see exactly which is best. That said, since Mastery is certainly a safe choice, we recommend Mastery enhancements on this page.

2. Gems

You should use Masterful Argulite Icon Masterful Argulite (or the cheaper Masterful Shadowruby Icon Masterful Shadowruby) in all sockets.

3. Enchants

Slot Enchantment
Neck
Back
Rings

4. Consumables

Flask of the Whispered Pact Icon Flask of the Whispered Pact should be used for raids along with Potion of Prolonged Power Icon Potion of Prolonged Power as your potion of choice. You should eat Lemon Herb Filet Icon Lemon Herb Filet against a single target (for the buff to your Versatility) or Nightborne Delicacy Platter Icon Nightborne Delicacy Platter against multiple targets (for the Mastery). Astral Healing Potion Icon Astral Healing Potion can be used in place of Healthstones.

If you can afford it, you should also use augment runes (which work in both raids and Mythic+ dungeons). Defiled Augment Rune Icon Defiled Augment Rune is the cheap rune with a one-time use. Lightforged Augment Rune Icon Lightforged Augment Rune costs 40,000 Gold and requires exalted reputation with the Army of the Light faction.
