Talent and Essence Cheatsheet
Wrathion, the Black Emperor
We advise you to use the following essences against Wrathion, the Black Emperor.

- Minor Slots

- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
- Breath of the Dying — Rank 3: Lethal Strikes
Tips
- Heroic Leap is useful throughout the encounter, to take Incineration out of the raid, avoid Gale Blast, and move across the platform during Phase 2. Bounding Stride generally more useful than Warpaint due to the amount of mechanics.
- Bladestorm is better suited to destroying Crackling Shard spawns, which typically do not last long enough for multiple Dragon Roar casts. It will also remove stacks of Creeping Madness on Mythic difficulty, though it is rarely a concern.
- More tips will be added as Mythic difficulty unlocks and strategies are developed.
For more information, please refer to our Wrathion, the Black Emperor guide.
