High Priestess Arlokk Guide: Strategy, Abilities, Loot

• You will want 2 tanks.
• Be ready to pick up Arlokk after she vanishes.
• Try to pick up any panthers you see when they are no longer stealthed.

• Fixated targets can be in danger, so watch them closely.
• Watch the boss' first target out of Vanish, since they will take a burst of damage.
• During the Vanish, Ranged DPS and Healers can position their backs to the fence in the room, which will cause Arlokk to jump to a person, but get caught behind the fence, letting you avoid the brunt of the damage she would otherwise deal.

• Focus Arlokk normally, only killing the panthers when Arlokk is Vanished.
• During the Vanish, Ranged DPS and Healers can position their backs to the fence in the room, which will cause Arlokk to jump to a person but get caught behind the fence, letting you avoid the brunt of the damage she would otherwise deal.
• Do not pull the panthers that are stealthed in the pens away from where you are killing the boss.

• Have the tanks try to pick up the panthers quickly when they are chasing someone, as the mark just gives them high threat, but is not a fixate.
• Everyone should watch out for the Whirlwind that Arlokk will use in panther form, as it can be quite deadly.

Hit the gong in the back of the temple to start the encounter. High Priestess Arlokk will immediately spawn and needs to be picked up by a tank. She sometimes will Gouge the tank, which should just trigger a tank swap. She also will sometimes call panthers to attack a player in the raid while she is stealthed, so people should help use CC and taunts to pick up the panthers if you can. While Arlokk is attackable however, she should always be the priority for damage.

The main ability to watch for is Vanish. This will cause Arlokk to stealth, during which time you can focus on killing panthers. She will come out of stealth by jumping behind a target, so Ranged DPS and Healers can stand with their backs to one of the fences next to the area which will cause her to teleport behind the fence if she jumps to you. This extra distance can easily save you, since she will cast a high damage Whirlwind coming out of stealth that needs to be avoided. Once the Whirlwind is over after a couple of seconds, everyone can resume attacking.

• Vanish will put Arlokk into stealth, which triggers the alternate phase. Ranged DPS and Healers should look to put their backs to the wooden fence in the room for when Arlokk comes out of stealth to potentially trick her into jumping behind it, allowing you to avoid the Whirlwind.
• Watch for the Mark of Arlokk that will send panthers to attack a player.
