TBC Classic Arms Warrior Pre-Raid Gear

MST

In this guide we go over the different gear available for Arms Warriors before entering raids. We will offer multiple different pieces, as some can be rather expensive or very rare to find. Some slots have multiple "best" items that can change depending on your current gear and Hit Rating needs.

For the most part we will exclude PvP gear choices. While PvP gear can be a very powerful option for some slots, the gear will require many hours of battlegrounds or weeks of arena point farming to obtain while not being a "best" choice. We recommend only investing time into farming a couple of these pieces at most as the lack of fully PvE focused stats can leave you lacking in certain aspects (such as hit rating or crit rating).

If your character is ready to jump into Phase 5 Sunwell content, then see our current best in slot list. If you wish to go through the content of Tiers 4, 5 or 6 instead, then please see their respective lists below.

Hard Khorium Choker is our best in slot neck for the expansion, but requires Jewelcrafting to use. Grab one the alternative options if you do not have the profession.

Swiftsteel Shoulders are very powerful shoulder options, but require you to be a Blacksmith to use them. If you do not have the profession, grab one of your alternative options.

Dory's Embrace is a solid PvE cloak, despite it being a PvP oriented cloak. There are a few other alternatives to use in the meantime till you can get yours.

Hard Khorium Battleplate is our best in slot chest for the rest of the expansion, but requires Blacksmithing to use. Breastplate of Ire is a good alternative, but has a 100 Badge of Justice cost with it.

Bindings of Lightning Reflexes are a powerful pair of wrists available to us through crafting. Pick these up as soon as possible.

Gloves of Immortal Dusk are very close to being your best in slot gloves for the entire expansion and can be obtained through crafting. Grab these as soon as you can.

Our belt options are fairly close here. We recommend getting Red Belt of Battle as it is crafted, letting you save your Badge of Justice for other items instead.

Legplates of Unending Fury are a powerful choice for our leg slot. As there are not many strong leg options, we recommend buying these with your Badge of Justice early on.

Phase 5 has a few new ring options available to us. Both Angelista's Revenge and Hard Khorium Band are extremely powerful options, lasting you the rest of the expansion. Pick up some of your other options in the meantime till you can get them.

Phase 5 has a couple new trinkets available for us. Shard of Contempt is extremely powerful trinket and is worth farming every day from Heroic Magister's Terrace. Figurine - Shadowsong Panther is great if you have Jewelcrafting.

The Blade of Harbingers is a powerful weapon we can get in phase 5, but has an expensive cost of 150 Badge of Justice. Legionfoe and Axe of Shattered Dreams are good alternatives in the meantime till you can farm yours.

Phase 5 has a couple of new ranged weapon options for us to choose from. While Crossbow of Relentless Strikes is a strong option, it cost 150 Badge of Justice. We have many items to purchase from badges, making this one of the last things we should purchase.
