TBC Classic Shadow Priest Phase 5 / Tier 6 Gear and Best in Slot

In this guide we will go over the different gear available for Shadow Priests in Phase Five of TBC Classic. We will offer multiple different pieces as some can be rather expensive or very rare to find. Some slots have multiple "best" items that can change depending on your current gear and Hit Rating needs.

If you are starting out as a freshly-leveled Shadow Priest, our pre-raid best in slot list is meant to give you an idea of non-raid items you can chase as a solo / pug player in preparation for raids. If your character is still progressing through the content of older tiers, then you may wish to consult their best in slot lists instead.

Dark Conjuror's Collar is our best in slot helm option available in Phase 5. Helm of Arcane Purity is a decent alternative if you cannot get your main helm option. Annihilator Holo-Gogs is a viable alternative if you have the Engineering profession.

Phase 5 has a few good necks, with Amulet of Unfettered Magics being the recommended option available. If you are a jewelcrafter and do not need the Spell Hit rating, you can make yourself Pendant of Sunfire. Finally, Guardian's Pendant of Subjugation is an easily obtainable option from honor that offers a strong power increase.

Shoulderpads of Absolution are our best in slot option in Phase 5, completing our 4-set bonus. Amice of the Convoker are a good alternative if you can complete your 4-set with other pieces until you can get your ideal gear setup.

Tattered Cape of Antonidas is a massive upgrade for us, giving us a huge stat boost. Nethervoid Cloak is still a great option, giving us high Spell Power and Spell Hit rating if needed.

Handguards of Defiled Worlds are our best in slot option, giving us everything we want. Gloves of Tyri's Power are the alternative option if you do not need Spell Hit rating with your current gear, and these are much easier to obtain. Lastly, you can get Sunfire Handwraps easily via Tailoring.

Timbal's Focusing Crystal is a powerful new option introduced in Phase 5 in the new dungeon. Other alternative trinkets from earlier phases are great options until you can get your best in slot options.

Sunflare is our best in slot option, offering a massive boost to all of our main stats. As this weapon is desired by all of the casters, it can be difficult to obtain. Reign of Misery is a great alternative that very few people will go for.
