Season 32 Tier List: Solo Speed GR Rankings
This page goes over the current state of each class in Season 32 in respect to their solo speed clearing capabilities and provides a ranking of some of the builds currently available on the site.
Top Solo Speed GR Builds for each Class
Solo Speed GR clearing is all about balance. A fast build that is weak is pointless if you can only clear GR 80 in 1 minute. A slow build that can clear insanely high GRs is also meaningless if you can never clear faster than 10 minutes for a rift. You want a powerful build that can still clear rifts efficiently. When you factor in the time it takes to generate rift keys, you should aim for a clear time of between 2 and 5 minutes with your build. These are the builds that are optimized for pushing high rifts quickly to farm the most efficient experience for paragon levels.
Barbarian
With Patch 2.6.7, several items that modify Rend were buffed, bringing forth this build as the top Barbarian build and one of the top S-Tier builds overall. In the past couple of seasons and on non-seasonal, this build has dominated the leader boards for Barbarian while also being relatively easy to play, making it an excellent build for players looking to pick up Barbarian for the first time.
Crusader
Thanks to a powerful new legendary that enables Fist of the Heavens to automatically cast while on a mount, the AoV set will be far and away the best for speed farming. This build is giving Crusaders all of the speed farming power that they've been asking for over the years.
Demon Hunter
In Patch 2.6.9, Demon Hunters gained the new Gears of Dreadlands set (GoD), which is based around using generators. The set, combined with some substantial buffs to supporting items has led to the Hungering Arrow generator build using the new set, which is far and away the strongest Demon Hunter build in the game. This build offers the highest baseline movement speed and a play-style similar to the Whirlwind or Rend Barbarian builds, which makes it great for both speed and pushing.
Monk
Now that Wave of Light is the most powerful Monk build once again, it should also prove to be the fastest and most efficient build. Screen-clearing damage that is powerful enough to push the highest GR levels is hard to beat.
Necromancer
After some large buffs this season, the Bone Spear Necromancer should return as one of the best speed builds for the class, but only while solo. In groups you have several more options, including some of the most efficient builds in the game such as in Rat Runs as a Singularity Mage Necro.
Witch Doctor
Mundunugu is exceptional at dealing huge amounts of damage in both AoE and single target, while speeding through the rift. Souls fly off you like a sprinkler, killing everything nearby as you run around. Additionally, proper management of your channels lets you annihilate rift guardians with ease, giving you exceptional speed farming capability.
Wizard
Meteor Wizards will dominate all content in Season 29. The build is simply too powerful, fast, and durable to not play in basically all forms of content.
