Season 35 Tier List: Group Rift Guardian Killer (RGK) Rankings
This page goes over the current state of each class in Season 35 in respect to their best group RGK build capabilities and provides comparative ranking of the builds.
Top Group Rift Guardian Killer Builds for each Class
For most 4-player group compositions, the DPS roles are split into two forms: AoE and single target. The AoE DPS is in charge of clearing the rift through maximizing area damage and huge density pulls while the single target dps is known as the RGK, or rift guardian killer. Because the damage styles are so unique, you usually have to separate them into two different DPS for optimal results. Here is the list of the best RGK builds for each class.
Barbarian
The Horde of the Ninety Savages Frenzy Barbarian is a whirlwind of steel, building up incredible attack speed to rapidly tear through single targets. This build is a relentless force, an unstoppable barrage of blows that grinds down even the most formidable foes. While not an optimal choice for RGK picks overall, it still has exceptional single-target power and is your best option for Barbarian, combining its extremely fast attack speed with supreme maneuverability across the battlefield.
Crusader
The Thorns of the Invoker Crusader is a walking fortress of retribution, punishing enemies for every strike against them. This build transforms incoming attacks into devastating counter-offensives, making it a thorny problem for any Rift Guardian. While not an optimal choice for RGK picks overall, it still has exceptional single-target power and is your best option for Crusader, combined with its enduring, retaliation-based playstyle.
Demon Hunter
The Impale Demon Hunter is a master of precision strikes, delivering lethal blows with pinpoint accuracy. This build excels at targeting individual enemies, unleashing a flurry of daggers that leave opponents no chance to escape their fate. While not an optimal choice for RGK picks overall, it still has exceptional single-target power and is your best option for Demon Hunter, combined with its strong early season power spike.
Monk
The Shenlong's Spirit Generator Monk channels raw spiritual energy into potent strikes, overwhelming enemies with a rapid succession of devastating blows. This build is a dynamic display of martial arts, where every punch and kick delivers immense damage to focused targets. While not an optimal choice for RGK picks overall, it still has exceptional single-target power and is your best option for Monk, combined with its control-heavy sustain damage.
Necromancer
The Bones of Rathma Army of the Dead Necromancer commands legions of undead, focusing their collective might into explosive, concentrated attacks. This build is a symphony of decay and destruction, overwhelming single targets with relentless barrages from beyond the grave. It is the best build for the purposes of killing the Rift Guardian due to its ability for concentrated fire.
Witch Doctor
The Arachyr Corpse Spiders Witch Doctor unleashes swarms of venomous arachnids to devour their prey. This build ensnares and overwhelms foes with a ceaseless tide of creepy crawlies, making them ideal for dissecting tough individual targets. While not an optimal choice for RGK picks overall, it still has exceptional single target power, and is your best option as a Witch Doctor combined with some incredibly utility.
Wizard
The Typhon's Veil Hydra Wizard summons powerful serpentine constructs that spit icy death upon their enemies. This build harnesses the persistent and potent attacks of multiple Hydras, allowing them to freeze and decimate singular foes with magical precision. While not an optimal choice for RGK picks overall, it still has exceptional single-target power and is your best option for Wizard, combined with its Hydras' insane Attack Speed.
